Art street is effectively empty and mostly abandoned. One or two tattoo places only. Don’t waste your time. There are some nice painting shops past the far end of the beach side street, near Thappraya Road. Look for John Gallery which I think is one of the best.

I regularly ate at SWEETIE PIES cafe. Excellent fresh fruit salad and probably the best coffee in town, served by the nicest Thai family in Pattaya.

Went to visit the art street in Pattaya yesterday but the back of Mike Shopping Mall is now a building site and the alley where the art shops were is closed off.
Anyone know where the artists went ? Have bought some nice things here before.

This little walkway next to Mike Shopping Mall now has more tattoo shops than artists at work, you can still find some nice and colorful paintings and make sure to barter...will do a personal piece for next to nothing.

I liked this alleyway that runs alongside Mikes Shopping mall - comes alive after lunch with exclusively art booths and tattoo parlors - there are some seriously talented artists along here - mostly reproductions of existing work but well done all the same and you can spend a good hour just browsing - the tattoo shops are nearer the beach end - nothing special here as there are similar places in just about every corner in this city

This street is located in the small lane right next to Mike Shopping Mall.It is a small alley of about 200 meters lined up with Tattoo studios and little Art shops where any one can get a Tattoo done or a Portrait or a family painting.Also there are shops which do frames for photos and paintings.The Entry is free and you will see how skillful the local artists are.I was blown away by some of the paintings which were hanging on the streets.It's a must see for me in Pattaya.

This is one of the hidden treasure in Pattaya, Located the alley north of Mike Shopping Mall. Just head on down the alley lots of artists working and tat places.

In this place you can see lots of local painters selling their paints. We were not so much experienced on paints. Just saw and came back. But some painting was really good.

Having a wander along a few streets & came upon this one by chance, mainly consisted of small tattoo parlours closest to Beach Road then as you get further along the street lot more artists were visible in their booths & some of the work looked really impressive, many seem to focus on oil paintings of members of the Rolling Stones. Some talented individuals here but not somewhere you'd head to unless the need for a tattoo takes you.

Is there anywhere in Pattaya where I can buy high quality original artist paintings which will typically be quite high priced ? Not interested in the usual mass produced tourist tat - looking for top notch original paintings from talented Thai artists and can pay top price for the right painting.
