I attended the 4pm Sunday mass here in English, which was a nice celebration among a tight community. Nice uplifting singing and a good reflective sermon in a lovely building. I understand they have an English mass at 08:30 on Sunday and 18:00 vigil on Saturday night.

We had visited this beautiful well maintained church during our vacation in Pattaya. The church is a small one but well maintained with beautiful decor and on the backside of the church there is a beautifully decorated graveyard with trees and flowers which we initially mistook for a garden when we saw from a distance. This place is good for a quick stopover.

St Nikolaus is at Pattaya Central Road (Pattaya Klang) and Sukumvhit Road. You can take the open bus (Songthaew) for 10baht each ride.

The church does not seem to have a website so this is the copy of mass schedules.

St Nikolaus Church is an elegantly designed Catholic Church that sits on a huge land. Big parking space in front of the church. Thai designs and a touch of Asian-ness were spotted in the church. Enjoyed our sunset mass on Saturday.

I have passed by dozens of times and decided to have a closer look - it was crowded as they had just completed a remembrance service for a local European benefactor - the church is unusual in that the sides open up creating a seemingly bigger space - at the back there is a small well tended cemetery - the bell tower is a separate building just off center at the front - easy parking and worth stopping for a few quiet moments in this bustling city

I visited a Catholic congregation in Pattaya. I witnessed a woman was denied the bread . She wanted to become a Christian. The Catholic priest took back the bread from her hands when she was at the altar. You are Buddhist, you can't do that. Prest told about God's love for everyone. After finishing the ministry, I could not hold back for talking to the priest. This is not a love when treated in this way. I have never experienced anything like other churches. This occurred in the church of St. Nikolaus Church Pattaya. That a priest can show such anger has nothing about God's love. This woman will not attend a Christian congregation after this experience but will support Buddhism. I told the parable of the Merciful Samaritan. It did not go in. The priest was just full of anger and his own feelings and words.

Just had a chance (and time) to appreciate the beauty of this majestic church (not many found during the stint in Pattaya anyway) from outside. Nice gothic style catholic construction.

Visited this church on Sunday morning with my family to light some candles for passed loved ones. So beautiful. They have English mass on 3 times a day but it is an open church so can visit any time.
