We wee conflicted about going here. It looked a little like a tourist trap and it was expensive (and didn't offer discounts for Thais as most temples do). However, we had seen some pictures and our interest was peaked. We were a little overwhelmed with how spectacular this place was. The carvings are so detailed and extensive and it sits... More

I'm was glad to see this place, it was worth the short trip and the small fee. This place is made of all wood, and has been in the works since the 1980s. Its massive, and beautiful and definitely worth your time.

Pattaya most treasured building. It is a testament to mans carving, art, history, and craftsmanship. I loved it and its worth a visit. it takes you to a mystical world of hindu religious iconography. Easy to get to and the surroundings are full of exotic plats and flowers. There is horse carriage rides as well as elephant rides which I... More

The temple is huge and its a photo-shoot location... Great looks and awesome place... Tickets for entry are costly but still is worth a entry... Don't forget your camera's and selfie sticks.

A 500 Baht entrance fee (about USD $14) is a little high for a site that was financed by an exceptionally wealthy Thai. Lots of opportunities to spend more money in restaurants, riding and feeding elephants/ponies, taking a short ride on little covered boats or buying over-priced souvenoirs and trinkets. The main "temple" is still under construction when I visited... More

The backstory and concept behind this "temple" is pretty interesting. Seeing the artisans at work was also nice. It's on a beautiful waterfront location. I spent about 2 hours here and that was good so you can fit this in with other area attractions on the same day

This is no doubt a wooden wonder !! It's a bit far off from city, entry is costly n also the taxi to get back to city is expensive. But all this aside, you got to visit this place if you are in Pattaya. This is a Wooden Wonder, no doubt ! Right on the edge of the sea..it's beautiful... More

You can find much cleaner water at its seashore. The Temple is made full of wood which will amaze you for its wooden-crafts and engraved artwork.
