This is the best and must place to visit in Pattaya. This is designed and carved with whole wood. Its a lifetime memory. I have never seen such a huge temple constructed with wood alone. It is just next to sea, which adds more beauty to the temple. It has got many Hindu gods as well. The entry fee is... More

We visited the Sanctuary of Truth. We did not want to pay the 500BHT entrance fee, but got the option to only pay 50THB per person to go to the observation deck. From here you could take pictures of the huge wooden sculpture. On the way to the observation deck, you walk past all the available activities, eg. horse cart... More

this is a very nice and majestic place but undergoing constant renovation .the place has very high entrance fees and this applies to whole of pattaya. which is very strange.the fees is 500bht and honestly not worth it.the temple has no historical importance .its just a business venture but worth seeing.its approx 10 15 mins from central pattaya and you... The temple is amazing. it's been under construction for 50+ years now, with every piece of wood being hand carved and carved with an amazing amount of intricate detail. In addition to viewing the temple itself, you can visit the building nearby where the woodcarvers are working on the new pieces for the temple. An amazing place to visit.

Such intricate work and it is still happening. Loved it. Would recommend that you read a little bit on Hinduism and Buddhism before you go there so you can truly absorb all the elements and be swept away.

The intricacy and scale of this place is quite remarkable. It feels alive because it is constantly being embellished and repaired. Looks ancient but is actually not and to think that this enormous structure is created entirely from wood crafted by skilled artisans is really quite awe inspiring. Enjoyed it immensely.
