This whole temple is carved out of wood.... from the stairs to the statues. There is always some restoration work going on. Please do abide by the dress code i.e. cover your legs and shoulders. In the middle of the temple there are numerous Buddha relics... and you can also offer your prayers. You can also take pictures in traditional... More

I wasn't sure about seeing this - yet another temple - but wow! It was worth the journey - still being built too! Stunning and all made out of wood!!

I wanted to visit a temple whilst in Pattaya and this is very different from the usual temples in Thailand in that it purely made of wood, it is always being worked upon and walking around the site after paying to get in and taxi from hotel took several hours, not that I noticed the time. The temple is truly... More

It was nice to walk around and see this beatiful catedral of wood. Amayzing work. The price 500 bath for ticet was ok. But dont take a taxi up there. It kost 300bath. If you jump on a "Bath taxi" it kost 10bath. (only differens is that you have to walk 200 meters)

It's hard to get there, being in North Pattaya away from the main Tuk Tuk routes. So the only option was to take a taxi which is fairly expensive. 400 baht return from Central Festival. The temple was nice, I would say even unique as its build in wood. The entrance fee is shocking high at 500 Baht per person.

This building has been under construction since the 1980s and is due to be completed by 2016. You don't need to wait 10 years to enjoy the splendours of this amazing site, the quality and quantity of fine carvings will take your breath away. Well worth the 500 baht entrance fee. They provide you with a hard hat as you... More

We 8 cruise ship passengers are at the Sanctuary of Truth (Prasat Sut Ja-Tum) during the 2nd day of our tour with “Bangkok Metropolis Tours by Thanaporn “Jean” Sungnoi” to experience the Magnificence of Heaven Recreated on Earth. The first thing that catches our attention is the ladies here have their faces partially or fully covered with some cosmetic or... More
