If you think that a polyester T shirt is good for Pattaya heat, and you do not mind paying £5 for it - this is the place. No famous names either.
Riplys entertainments are much more to enter for the foreigner than a Thai, but you will not know that because Thai prices are displayed in Thai script so most foreigners cannot read it.
The whole place is an expensive tourist trap . . .

After a walk on the beach and around the front we went into the royal garden plaza mall. Shops on offer on the lower floors then upstairs on the 4 th floor was the foodwave food court. You pick a covered dish each from many stalls and a drink from another, chicken noodles were 195 Thai baht about £5, mixed spicy seafood salad 170 Thai baht about £4.30 and a large beer 175 Thai baht about £4.50. We sat outside on the terrace with great views of the sea front and beach where they brought out our cooked food which was very nice.

The Royal Garden is located near Walking Street and is located on the beach road.There are many shops in this center to buy clothes and shoes.

It is a very large multi-storey shopping mall. Instead of very expensive brand stores, there are affordable stores and shops where people can shop comfortably. There are also play groups for children. There are also coffee chains such as Starbucks Coffee and fast food restaurants. A nice alternative place to spend pleasant times.

Shopping in the old mall, Royal Gardens, is always a treat, especially the "facial price wars" where you get a one-hour facial for 349 baht (about 10 bucks USD). Mall open til 11 PM daily.

It's a very good place to visit to purchase the different verioty of garments and other things. Although it's a very small mall but you can also taste the food on the top.

At the top floor of Royal Garden Plaza Pattaya you can find "Food Wave" which offers international food court with a decked balcony merged in the sea view of Pattaya.
At first glance this food court looks promising, as the food mockups on each kitchen looks great.
At the entrance you get a charging card, then you choose a dish and go take a seat, where they will reach you in few minutes to serve.
The food is not made on spot - they warm pre-preperred dishes!! but charge you as freshly made ones.
Be warned, as it is not recommended to consume heated food where no in home, and it usualy arrive not so warm.
Also, they don't alway serve you with what exactly you have chosen, may be relying that a person forgets the details. My wife got completly differnet dish, and that kithcen attendant said it is what it is, although looks completly different (look and ingrideints!), so I called the manager to show my aggravation and notice the cheat. she agreed and creditted the amount of that dish, which my wife rfuse to touch (and was cold).
You can go for a coffee if you want to enjoy the view, it's probably the only thing which is made on spot.

We came across this mall while walking around Pattaya & went inside for the Air conditioning. But was pleasantly surprised with the different categories of shopping available. Me & my husband were intrigued with the facial service being offered & got it done. Very successfully removed blackheads, and got free makeup done. Then we spent quite a bit at the Gap store. Nice stuff at the EDC (Esprit store). Yummy ice cream at the mall entrance. Nice way to while away an afternoon in Pattaya.

Endless shopping choices which all insist you to forget yourself. A very big shopping mall with good eateries choice. Centrally located just 2 minute walk from Walking street and on 2nd floor is GREAT Ripley's believe it or not world (worth not missing at all) Bit costlier shopping as compared to Bangkok.
