While my wife and I were in Pattaya, Thailand, we visited the floating market. The market had a variety of items for sale, from clothing to leather goods, food and refreshments. Certainly lots to see and do however I’d be really careful about eating any...More

Read the reviews and unsure what to expect but luckily the floating market had kept everyone interested from 3 - 72 years old. Lots of food, shopping, things to do, really enjoyed the half day spent there. 200 baht ticket for foreigners and free for...More

We went in the morning and floating markets are from floating houses. Found also some boats selling eatables etc. They sell clothes and eatables, statues etc on the building made on top of water. It is a new concept to the marketing giving a glamour....More

I was looking to do some authentic Thai shopping and the Floating Market was the place to do it. My husband, a few days before we arrived took the boat ride and he said it was not worth the $30. However, the shopping looked promising....More

Overpriced for the 25min private boat ride at 800baht per person. We took it for the experience. You can choose to walk around the big market on foot as well. Young children can feed goat and koi fish.

A smaller market but very good to visit. All inclusive ticket included zipline, photographs, boat ride, traditional village, muay thai demonstration, etc. Was really cool and we thoroughly enjoyed the day. We were really happy we went to see what a floating market was like....More

We went on a family trip. It is an artificial floating market with many activities and attractions. Good fun.

I guess if Pattaya is your only destination for learning about Thailand’s past, this tourist trap is “do-able”. Masses of Chinese tour groups seem to monopolize the place; thus,no tranquility what so ever. The place is crowded between 10am-4pm. Very difficult to find a honest...More

Its bit far from the city. You will have to hire a taxi from the hotel which will take you to the floating market. It will be almost 30min ride. You should hire same taxi to go and come back otherwise you will not get any... More
