Onsen still fine but a bit rundown compare to Sathorn brunch.

But there are plenty parking space compare to Sathorn.

Still a good place to visit

This is a lovely facility which I am assuming has been purpose-built. It is also the third Yunomori onsen that I have visited. The front desk attendant I dealt with was efficient and welcoming. As has been mentioned by previous reviewers the selection of items available at the cafe is disappointing, which is curious seeing that a huge amount of real estate is dedicated to it. The building itself needs a spot of exterior maintenance, and there are some curious design issues (pipes above ground in the outside area, for example) that diminish the overall aesthetic.

The only real criticism I have - and why I have awarded 4 stars instead of five - is the issuing of underpants/swimwear to all entrants. What the? You cannot call it an onsen and then have people clothed in it. You are diminishing the onsen experience, and turning this into a day spa/sauna. If this is the way forward (and I hope it isn’t), then why not combine the male and female sections into one more communal experience, where larger facilities can be enjoyed by all. It simply makes no sense. I’m pleased to say that I was at the Sathorn branch last week, and this nonsense was not in play there.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Amazing Onsen experience.
Pay no attention to the negative reviews and try it for yourself.

The staff are so professional and helpful. Some do not speak English , so please be respectful and patient.

What to do:

Enter the front building and immediately take off your shoes/socks and store it in the shoe locker to the right. Lock and take the key with you.

Walk bare foot to the front reception and chose your session. They will give you a electronic wrist band to use to open your locker and order food.

Walk straight pass the restaurant and down the stair to the ground level. Meet with the staff behind the counter and show them your wrist band number. They will provide the following: Japanese robe(S,M,L,XL), robe belt, swim boxer(men) or swim suit(women), 2 x towels(large and small).

Walk into the Onsen and go to your designated locker number that's on your wrist band
Tap the knob with your wrist band and it will open the locker.
Place everything inside the locker.
I wear the provided boxers or swim suit ,but it's optional. Yes, you can go naked .
Optional: taking small towel into the Onsen.

Walk to the shower seat area and wash yourself from top to bottom before entering the sauna and bath area.

I start with the dry sauna for 5 min and then go to the three large cold water containers to rinse off. Then go to the wet sauna and repeat the rinse.

Then enjoy the 6 baths: mineral sulfur , milk , bubble, individual warm barrels, cold bath , jacuzzi and lay down bath. After each hot bath, I plunge in the cold bath (3-5 min each). Repeating as much as you like.

Next: shower and change into your Japanese robe . Walk outside barefoot to the restaurant area. Go to the back to the right . There will be a napping room. Grab a large brown blanket and proceed inside the room. Relax and chill for hours.

Note: ring out and save your boxers for when you come back. 30 bht charge for extra boxer or swim wear .

After : enjoy the restaurant. Good food, smoothies and tea. Coffee not so strong. Pay with your bracelet.

Then head back to the Onsen and repeat the above process .

Finish: shower again, change clothes , dry hair and moisturize body.

Head back to the front desk to check out and then retrieve your shoes in the locker

Hope this info helps

I am a regular customer from this onsen , but after covid this go down the hill.
Restaurant has limited choices of food or drinks , no fruit shake ...
5 choices of food ... have to ear every week the same ?
Now we not eat there anymore.. eats a shame and a missed opportunity to generate some more money.
Staff in restaurant to busy playing phone , I should say no phones during work.
Today I am here and no air conditioning in restaurant and rest room .
I can understand that something can go broken but they should have told me at the entrance and I could decide to choose what I wanted.

It's a very big onsen with many pools to include a outside area. The onsen was very pleasant and I would recommend for anyone who enjoys japanese style onsens to come check it out

Perfect relaxation guaranteed. They have complimentary pick up and drop off transportation within the hotels nearby Pattaya Beach. Just make sure to arrange it with ample time. The price is reasonable considering the place ambient. Very friendly staffs and the masseuses were professional! Definetly, a must try experience in Pattaya.

Upon arrival, staff seem flustered and nervous to speak English. After explaining the menu from what i understand, i had misinterpretated. I asked for a massage and spa facility, so i got changed and had a massage which credit to the lady was a very good massage. They really know what they doing.

I then showerer and put on swimming trunks and told the lady to direct me to the spa, she directed me to the LOBBY where everyone was clothed and i was a a bit embarrassed everybody looking at me in my swimming trunks. I was then told i cannot use spa facility as my body has oil on (which i had showered after anyway).

I think if they want to attract tourist trade they need a lesson in ENGLISH language, just to know the basics like yes sir no sir.

Other than that, i suppose location is ok, staff seem friendly but just smile and cant communicate, but pricey i paid 1250 baht for 90 mins. Looks clean though 👌
