A different experience and something you don't see every day. For us, it was a short visit because there isn't much else to see than the mummified munk. However, I would recommend people to go, if they are in the neighborhood because it is a very unusual experience.

What a waste of time....not worth the effort...if you can avoid this please do so. However most tours take you there...just stay on the bus

Simple but very pretty temple in which you can see the mummified remains of the Temples Abbot. Worth visiting. Get a blessing from a monk while you are here

This is the first time I was able to see any mummified body and I was awed that it is well preserved. We donated money and the monks blessed us as well. For our Samui adventure visit my blog at www.katmeifucan.blogspot.com

The mummified monk has been preserved for eternity and is a must see attraction for those culture vultures out there. Get a blessing from a monk who is very much alive

We hired a driver for a one day tour around Samui. We stopped here on the way past. Well worth it. The mummified monk is unique...no question about that. But if you are not comfortable looking at dead people - avoid this place. He is inside a glass cube and very clearly you can see his skin...on both his arms... More

It quite an interesting place - differing cultures etc and how people can dedicate thier lives to a basic life style. No dress restrictions WC's Won't take up to much of your time go and see for yourselves.
