This is a great spot to sit and have a beer after a day of sightseeing in Chiang Mai. The owner is very nice and is very hospitable. We enjoyed the location (you can watch the busy market in the street outside) and the music he played (American 60's rock music). Had one of my favorite afternoons of my trip here

Seems to be for the older generation but that's probably the music (60-70s rock). It's a great place to see the market go by at street level

Lay back, order a beer and watch the people walking by (or the owner smoking one cigarette after the other). Had the most relaxing evening there...

This is a good place. Though is had all the old age crowd but they were music lovers. Nice old Rock music was played and it was fun to enjoy a few drinks with them.

Throughout our stay in Chiang Mai we ended up here almost every night. Because of the early curfew of most bars and places in this city Barli closes at midnight.
Nevertheless, it's a great place to hang out, listen to great music (loads of classic and psychedelic rock from the 1960s and 1970s) and enjoy a very friendly owner and his basic but fabulous drinks!!!
If you happen to be there on a Sunday, this is the perfect spot to watch the Sunday Walking Street crowds pass by...

Stumbled among this little gem. Sells beer Laos ( larger and dark larger) both delicious. The owner is a really nice guy. Playing chilled out Spanish music. Great place to stop relax and take Chang Mai in while sipping on an ice cold beer.

This is a great little bar in the middle of the Sunday Walking market. Lovely laid back tunes and cold Thai beer served to your table. No food and no kids. The perfect place to rest your feet, have a chat and people watch.
Also the murals in the toilet are hilarious. Its the only time I've taken a panorama photo in a bathroom
