There is no guarantee if you will be able to visit the museum. Also, there are no tuk tuks or taxis there waiting for you. Try to figure out a way to go though.

This is not a review but to let other visitors know that it is closed and will open next month. It's out of the way and you'll just get disappointed just like me to arrive there and be told it's closed. Also, make sure you...More

Relatively new building on a peninsula in the middle of a pond. Very pretty outside and for history nerds inside. Though a/c lures very strong. They give you a spare shoes for the museum carpet. If you find old agricultural tools and clothing for your...More

the entrance is past the police station on chotana road, a little further west than the map indicates. Entrance today was an enforced 40 baht donation. A large collection of artifacts and movies. Raises more questions then it answers, but that's ok.

We enjoyed a nice, rather long, walk to this museum after lunch at Maya Mall. The setting gives a nice sense of being in the countryside. There is a beautiful and serene lake with many people fishing as well as many eating establishments located around...More

This museum is nice to see if you are nearby, but not really worth a ride there. The exhibits were interesting, and there are explainations in english, but nothing out of the ordinary. However the location is beautiful- right in the middle of a lake....More

Hi Michael, I'm sorry but I don't remember how much it cost to get in to the museum. I'm sure it must have been reasonable, because if it had been expensive then I probably would have been more likely to remember it, sorry... More

People trying to get to this museum seem to have difficulty locating it. I will be staying in the old city. What's the best way to get there and about how much time it takes/cost maybe with a songthaew or a tuk-tuk? How does one get back? Google is confused, it shows two hours by car, which cannot be true. Any clarification would be appreciated.
