I got quite a few massages in Thailand but this was my best! I wandered into it because it was close to my hotel and i have no regrets. They are very clean, thorough and goooood!

This massage place came highly recommended by a local. She suggested that we tried at least a hour and a half of foot massage. She said that was where the locals went for good massage and she was not wrong. This place is clean and the masseuse very professional. We went back twice in our short stay in Chiangmai and had a 2 hour long massage the second time. Highly recommended.

This massage centre was recommended by the host of our B&B - Baan Orapin. We went for an hour foot massage as a trial and it was bliss (with just the right amount of 'ouch' in the calf muscles that had been walking all day). We went back twice more during our stay, trying both the traditional Thai massage and a remedial massage - all good. Definitely going back there on our next visit to Chiang Mai.

I had numerous foot and leg, back and shoulder massages during my visit ( I don't do full Thai massage any more as I am not as flexible as I used to be) at Getthawha and was happy with all of them.
For the most part the staff are lovely, some have great English, some not so much but everyone understands 'ouch' or ' more'.

I am happy to pay the 200 baht for an hours massage.

It would be easy to pass by this wonderful Thai Massage business, but don't ! It is clean, with a very pleasant atmosphere and very good ( read, a bit painful) Thai practitioners, all for 150 Bhat for most one hr. massages. It is exactly 1 min.from the Riverside House, how convenient is that, if you are staying at this very good hotel?. And it is open from 8:00 until 8:00. It does have the one drawback that most of Thai Massage places seem to have--either the radio/ CD is playing horrible pop or smaltz or the TV is on. But all the other things are in it's favour, and in the 6 days I have been in Chiang Mai, I have had 9 massages, either foot and leg or full. I have tried a few others, temple massage, Night Bazaar(skip the large outdoor free for all) and I keep coming back to this one. Worth seeking out.
