I have been training for 1.5 years in USA in Muay Thai. I went to this gym to train and had a great time. Instructors knowledgeable and have fought professionally so know what they're talking about. Since I had trained before, it was nice to do more advanced moves vs learning basics. Overall great time, went 2x while in Chiang... More

I'd done Muay Thai lessons twice at the same place in Bangkok and was very excited to try another school. I chose this school because it was conveniently located and most of the reviews were good. Me and my 6 year old son showed up for the 9am training session without an appointment. We were readily welcomed into the school.... More

An outstanding place, I've spent perhaps three months on my three stays in Chiang Mai in this gym. It started off as a place to work out and regain fitness but it very quickly became more than just that. After three weeks, I lost seven kilos and was able to skip a rope faster than I could ever imagine. I... More

I came to Chiang Mai for 1 month, mainly to train Muay Thai. My plan was to check out a couple gyms before deciding which one to train at but after training once at Sit Thaharnaek I knew that I had to look no further. From the very first training session I felt like I was part of a family.... More

Had a great experience in my first lesson from the Gym master Kru Hua. He learned me the basics and gave a intense workout. Its more expensive then a group lesson 200 baht versus 900 baht a hour, but definitely worth it!

I've trained at a few places over the years whilst my partner is fairly new to muay thai. This gym was pretty bad, the trainers were the worst. Not interested in teaching technique, just holding pads whilst head was elsewhere. We stayed in Chang mai for 10 days, 7 days training, wasted 1 session here. If you want to learn... More

This was my second favorite activity in Thailand, quickly following a day with elephants. I box in the states, and have always wanted to learn Muay Thai. How cool to actually be able to do it in Thailand?! I emailed the gym, and they were very responsive. MY bf and I have a 1:1 Master session with Kru Hua. What... More

It was a strainuous and challenging workout as expected. All in all, it was a great 2 hours experience to be learning muay thai martial arts moves and technics from the champions themselves.

Great gym opposite the Chiang Mai night bazaar. My friend and I, both complete beginners, only had time for a short session and we got to have an hour private lesson there. The instructor was really encouraging and helpful, we did a warmup and learnt some basic moves then did some pad work in the ring with him. Had an... More

I happened to find this gym on the internet and glad I did especially as it was right beside Le Meridien hotel. I contacted the gym via email which is sit.thaharnaek.muaythai@gmail.com - I had a hard time finding it but they are very responsive by email. I was just looking for two private training sessions to help improve my skills... More
