What a fantastic time we had with Pooh Eco. From start to end everything felt very safe, authentic, wild, close to nature. The food was incredible and organic and fresh. Take your own sleeping bag and a foam mattress if you can because the nights are freezing and you sleep on a cold floor. A pillow would be advised. Also... More

We booked a trekking for one day in the jungle. What a fantastic experience. Although we didn´t see many animals, it was absolutely beautiful to be walking in the jungle. Just a small group of 6 with 3 guides. Amazing to have your lunch made by the guides with ingredients they found during the walk (in addition to what they... More

The real advantage with this company is that the group is small and you're off the beaten track (we didn't see any other tourists during or day-long trek). The guide was chatty and happy to answer questions and the accompanying porter made us a beautiful lunch in the middle of the forest. Great day out!

It was a beautiful trip, with a nice guide and 2 other locals. We were a small group of 6 people and had an amazing time. If you are visiting chiang Mai it's a strong recommendation.!

Our guide, Pi, arrived at hotel a few minutes early to pick us up. Collected another 5 people then drove for 1 hour to local market to buy food for lunch. We stayed here 35 mins which was too long to be honest. Another hour drive to start of Trek up in the hills. Pi gave good information without talking... More

Really nice eco-trekking with a nice & funny guide. We spent the day im a non-touristic place at all + we had a great zero-waste lunch. Great experience. :)

After searching online for over a month to find a company my friend and I were comfortable booking with, I finally landed on Pooh Eco Trekking. My primary concerns were: 1) Hiring a guide company with ethical business practices, 2) Working with a company that cares about leaving no trace, and 3) Having an off-the-grid experience away from other travelers/tourists.... We went on a 1 day tour with a group of other people. It was awesome to see the waterfall, eat some great BBQ food on an open fire and also gain knowledge from the locals about the wildlife and nature. Even if you haven't got much time in chiang mai it is really worth it.

Our guide Kraeson was excellent and very friendly; the trek was very well organised. We walked 3 1/2 hours the first day and 5 hours the second, in different landscapes including the river in which we could bath. Scenery was spectacular. The food was awesome even when eating in the forest. The stay at the village was very pleasant, with... More

This was one of the highlights of our Thailand honeymoon. My wife and I did the overnight Hill Tribe trek with a homestay in a Karen village. We were so glad we booked with Pooh, from the start they were very professional. The hike itself was tough and at times dangerous but if you have the right hiking shoes and... More
