I really enjoyed visiting Tha Phae Gate, actually walking around the exterior of the walled city is a pretty cool experience for anyone that enjoys history.

Its a meeting point of human and pegions!! You will see people taki g photos with pegions flying as background...some feed them with unpopped popcorn.

If you are close by then the gate is worth seeing. You won't spend much time here and if you go to the Sunday market you will be able to see the gate at the same time.

Don't go out of your way, but if your passing by. Read the history of this walled city...great story behind it. Amazing to see it and awe at its age.

As far as I know the lanterns are really a big deal on New Years Eve. During other times of the year I could not answer with any certainty.
Hi, I want to know can I check in after 7PM? beacuse my flight will arrive airport at 6:40PM. I can't arrive to the hostel before 7PM.
