My friend and I looked for such an experience like this one and we were glad we found the right one. The reason why this is so touching is because we know that the elephants were rescued from some cruel places and seeing them being...More

We are considering Lanna Tours with our one year old baby in Jan. I would like advise from people with small kids that have done this experience. Should I stick to the half day tours with a baby or are there rest periods in between for naps (for baby) during the full day tour. What would people suggest most?

I think it is a very relaxed tour and they would be very accommodating for you and your child. Even if you have to step aside for a minute to attend to your child I don't think you will miss out.

Is it advisable to bring a good camera? Are there safe places you can leave a bag when you are washing the elephants?

I am looking at an elephant encounter to do and this one seems the best for price. One thing i am confused about is if you ride the elephants or not? I saw on their website they state you do not ride them but most of the reviews say you do. I dont mind riding them as long as it is bare back so just wondering what exactly you do
