Nice temple on the hill top with big Buddha. The temple is located on the top of Doi Kham hill, around 20 minutes from city center. Good that we could bring our vehicle up to the top so we didn't have to walk up the...More

This temple was different from the others as it had these lovely little baby statues and they were all smiling, not sure what they were for but they all had a different pose and looked happy.

Really a tall Buddha, My friends didn't expect to see this after so many Thai temples about. normally reasonably quiet and with a beautiful view over Chiang Mai. We get to visit other smaller ones at the place too.

This temple is very nice and people use to bring flowers there when their wishes came true. Nice view over the city from a different angle than Doi Suthep. Not so many people there.

From other people's photos, I judge there is a lot to see on this site that I didn't notice. I felt complete simply taking in the many forms of worship going on in the area of the stupa pagoda at the top. It was exceedingly...More

Sunrise is best as the Monks sleep early and you can see and communicate with them. Sunset is not recommended. Make sure you go with a tour guide
