The Ratchaphruek Flower Gardens are a must-see when visiting the Chiang Mai area. The expansive gardens are incredibly picturesque. Bike rentals are available and, for less active travelers, an electric bus is available to take you around.

This is one of our favorite places in Chiang Mai. We return here over and over, especially if we have guest in town, or for the months of the flower festival. We bring our bikes (though you can rent nice bikes there very cheap) and leisurely ride around the exhibits, and enjoy all the flowers and beautiful gardens. The "temple"... More

I have been here w couple of times now. First time I walked, today we took the shuttle tram. The gardens are well maintained & beautiful. It is worth spending some time here, maybe worth taking the shuttle tram & then also walking around, so that you can take it all in. Entrance fee was 200b, 100b for locals. Shuttle... More

The park is well maintained and beautiful. It is quite huge. So spare around 3 hours to visit it. Would suggest u to go early in the morning and rent a bicycle n visit the different gardens there. We only allocated 2 hours hours and did not manage to cover the whole area. However the restaurant there are bad n... More

Plan on using the shuttle bus to get around in here if you go, it's immense and pretty spread out. We enjoyed some of the areas, especially the shade garden but some of the areas featuring other countries were a little disappointing because they featured mostly landscaping and structures (we like flowers and interesting plants). There is drone footage available... More

this park is small, but pretty cool. the park was very well maintained and the orchid garden was pretty amazing. The butterfly exhibit was pretty cool too. if you have time, definitely check it out. There was even live music when we were there.

This is a tremendously well-kept park, mainly featuring botanic exhibits, but with overtones of the Thai beloved royal family. Apart from the inherent interest of the trees and flowers, the park offers excellent photo ops, and is a favoured spot for wedding photographs. It is best to go midweek to avoid the crowds, go early to avoid the heat, and... More

This place is heaven. I could live here happily forever. Rent a bicycle and do your own tour. The Royal Project restaurant at the end of the park is excellent as well. It is a bit hot in the middle of the day, but there is a lovely air con area with exotic flowers and lots of beautiful benches to... More

The best orchid garden in SE Asia. The grounds have really grown are are just beautiful at this time a year. Also when the weather is cooler excellent to walk around in the early morning. Many different types of flowers.

Had a lovely tour around the Royal Park Rajapruek today. Took the tram and walked a few stops too. A lovey way to spend a few hours. Beautiful floral displays and displays representing different Asian countries. All clean and well groomed
