The Ratchaphruek Flower Gardens are a must-see when visiting the Chiang Mai area. The expansive gardens are incredibly picturesque. Bike rentals are available and, for less active travelers, an electric bus is available to take you around.

If you just go around the park on Tram, you won't see much details. Need at least 2-3 hours here so that you have time to walk around.

This is a nice park and to be honest. It was not very busy. We went in the afternoon and the sun was blazing. It is a big park, so two hours would be the minimum. This park could be great. There is a bus that goes around the park at an additional cost. It is near the night safari... More

Easy access, a beautiful park with super orchids, plants and many pavilions from around the world presenting their culture in this splendid place. The views are gorgeous. To visit the entire park We took a golf cart for 600 bath and it was delightful . A peaceful quiet way to do the entire park. Highly recommended .

I would rent a bike for 60 baht inside. There is a shuttle but you have to wait for it every 15 mins when you get off. The bike gives you the availability to go at your own pace and take pictures. The entrance fee in 200 baht and there is cheap food inside and outside the exist. The park... More

We spent 4 hours here and felt we could have spent another 4 hours easily. Still we were very happy with the time we did spend. The place is absolutely beautiful and if the sun is shining then even better. There is a little tram/bus that takes you around (it does cost but not much at all) meaning that you... More

Take a break from Chiang Mai's bustling streets and head towards this lovely park for a morning stroll among its manicured lawns, orchid gardens, tasteful pottery displays, cascades and quirky sculptures. Newly wed couples come here to pose for pictures, old people rest in the shade of its huge trees, while others wonder at the richness of its exceptional orchid... More

We quite enjoyed visiting the lovely gardens at Royal Flora Ratchapreuk. These Army hectares are constantly being attended to and we loved the orchid park

Really beautiful place with a cheap fee price (100THB). Nice for chill around and photograph. Also great view from the temple when it's sunset. The place is huge but walking is fine, the atmosphere is also very nice even in the very bright day. But something is still under construction.
