We really enjoyed our Bangkok Street food tour. Our guide, Joker, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He had reserved dishes at sell out places for us in advance so make sure we didn't miss out on anything. The food was delicious and doing the tour gave us the opportunity to try food which we may not otherwise have known about. Highly recommend

Our goal was to get a taste of authentic Thai food and this was achieved. I was a little nervous about eating street food, but had no problems and was plenty full at the conclusion of the tour. Our guide, named Joker, was thorough with picture taking and explanations so I am full of new and interesting knowledge.

Booking easy. Directions said meet at stone map opposite Mac Donalds, it's actually metal and on a low horizontal stone base so didn't notice it a first!
Guide got held up but apologised. He was a nice guy as were the rest of the group.
No plan or expectations set at the beginning. All appeared to be a bit haphazard. Some walking, use of taxis. No explanation on why we went to certain locations or tried certain foods. If you had not been to Thailand before you may not have got a full flavour of typical dishes.
Visited a temple and attached museum - didn't expect or want this.
Have been on far better tours in other countries and cities, notably in Bangkok by Follow Me Bike tours, which was excellent, 7 restaurants/cafes all within walking distance, full explanation of the dishes by a guide who was a natural foodie. Not sure this guide was.......Ownership with the company owner not the guide here.......

Tippy was our tour guide and she was absolutely fantastic!!

Meet up in a central part of the city and driven via tuk tuk to a local food market. Tippy shows you all kinds of meats, spices, vegetables, fruits etc.

Then you are taken all over the city and beyond to several brilliant food spots.

Don't eat much breakfast / lunch before the tour as you gets loads!!!

Some of the best Thai food I've ever tasted and Tippy made our tour extra special.

100% recommend this tour to others!!

Nicky was a great guide, introducing us to many foods and places in Chiang Mai, and always ready with some history or a tip. He greeted us with cold water bottles, which was appreciated on the hot day! We traveled around in a tuk tuk and tried over a dozen different Thai foods. We were the very first Chiang Mai tour and everything was very organized and smooth. Thanks, Nicky and Taste of Thailand!
