Taking a bus from Bangkok airport to Pattaya is very simple option. The bus hub on the 1st floor is well organised and easy to navigate. Staff very friendly and buses comfortable. Departures are frequent so no need for advanced booking.

It’s a bus terminal so expect a mass of confused passengers wandering around aimlessly. That said, each booth is clearly marked with the destination and the prices are amazingly low so all in all it’s not a bad experience but remember that Bkk has a...More

It's a bus station; you buy a ticket, you don't get ripped off with the price as a foreigner, everyone pays equal amounts, and then they transport you to your location. It's a pretty straight-forward process.

There are signs to read - in Thai but also short descriptions in english. You can buy tickets in designated booths, and there is a waiting area with plastic chairs. Connections to Rayong and to a lot of other places

Ridiculously cheap at 120b each way from Ekamai to Pattaya. The comfortable air conditioned bus takes around 2.5 hours to reach Pattaya. Take the bus in preference to the van, it is much safer and more comfortable. Lots of destinations can be taken from here....More

Buses go from the southern bus station; Sai Tai Mai. Although it's been a few years I always went by train. It's fast, efficient and a lovely journey.

Tough. They don't show online. Best to know on the ground. When you arrive at Ekkamai, there will be buses hourly. But don't come too late after 5pm. And not too early before 8am. Have fun!
