Less crowdy but yet with the same philosophy. We enjoyed our after dinner walk in this backpacker style surrounding.

It’s a quiet and slow paced area, especially compared to its neighbor, Khaosan road. Few nice riverfront guesthouses, mix of chic and new cafes mixed with old style hole in the wall Thai eateries provides a nice ambience, very laid back and relaxing. Good place...More

If there's such a thing as getting weary of everything the malls have to offer, this area along the Chao Phraya river could be the chillout spot you're after. Increasingly "hip" with its blend of old and new, it attracts baclpackers and young locals. Stay...More

Frequented mainly by locals. Lots of small restaurants and bars in converted shophouses with fairly reasonable prices. Very busy so good to people watch.

We stayed for one week in a hotel on this road. The road is noisy and polluted. Not sure why this place should be considered as a major activity in Bangkok? There are hundereds of other roads in Bangkok which looks the same...

Yummy food and meet local artist .It's as good local food as local gallery. It's for friend and culture people. Every things come from local. Price is not expensive.

the road and the whole area is fresh because lots of young people come here to stay in this area. hotels and guesthouses are still pretty cheap and there is music and fun.
