The biggest market in Thailand, and possibly in Southeast Asia, Chatuchak (also known as JJ Market) is home to thousands of vendors. The market is so large it has its own mobile app available to help you navigate. It is divided into themed sections including...More

Best places to buy souvenirs in a Bangkok and in our experience- All of Thailand. But it’s purely a tourist market selling mainly souvenirs. Don’t expect a local type market. Prices were lower than most places we went to throughout Thailand. The food options are...More

We arrive at 9 in the morning, and isn't that crowded yet. I came here 7 years ago, the crowds apparently has changed and it's less people. You can definitely bargain here, like from 250 you can ask for 200. Food wise I recommend you...More

Wasted too many hours hoping to find treasures. Lots of recycled clothes, Thai crafts & crowds of people squeezing into tiny alleyways.

I personally wasn't crazy about this market. it's very hot and crowded, hard to navigate and doesn't offer much more than other Bangkok markets. I found an animal pot extremely cruel.

This is the market I’ve been heard for so long about how cheap the market was; but unfortunately IT IS NOT CHEAP at all, be careful with your belongings and start to bargain with at least under 50% off the price they offer you; and...More

Save the market map on your phone for reference to get your orientation because the market is too big and easy to get lost. Be prepared to spend an entire day. Managed to get some nice souvenirs like personalized owl keychains (3 for and family...More

Every weekend, thousands of tourists make their way up
to this Northern Bangkok suburb to get lost in an
enormous maze of shops at the Chatuchak Weekend
Market. Home to almost 10,000 vendors, you’ll find
everything from vintage sneakers to comic books and
Thai handicrafts being sold here. You name it,
Chatuchack probably sells it. The market is a great
place to pick up souvenirs, but be sure to bargain for

Visited the markets back in July this year, not sure about the shop you are asking about but the markets generally open up at about 10am on the weekends. Hope this helps.
