Wat Bukkhalo is a beautiful temple located near the Rama III Bridge on the Chao Phraya River bank. It was built in 1767 during the Ayutthaya Period. Great place to experience feeding the pigeon and the fish, all the fish at the river nearby the temple are really big size as it is prohibited to fish them, and it seen like at the fish is attracted to this area due to easy food from tourist.

This small temple on the Chaophraya River is easily one of my favourites in all of Bangkok. Located not far from the Rama 3 Bridge, it can easily be reached by taxi or bus. The local Chaophraya express boat may even stop at their pier during the day but I am not sure about that. I like to arrive late... More
