Yunomori Japanese Onsen & Spa Bangkok

Yunomori is the first authentic Japanese Onsen and Spa in Thailand, and it brings ancient Japanese Onsen bathing culture together with traditional Thai massage techniques to create a uniquely relaxing experience.

Bathe in healing water sourced directly from the thermal springs of Wat Wangkanai. The temperatures and mineral content of these sacred waters detoxify and relax the body, making it supremely receptive to the holistic Thai massage skills of our Spa’s expert therapists.

Yunomori is a retreat from the hectic nature of city life. Whether you need to escape for an hour or a day, our Onsen, Spa, Cafe, and Beauty Clinic will nurture you back to perfect health.

This is a great place always very clean and relaxing. If you cannot handle the nudity thing best give this place a miss. They do let you have a small towel in the onsen area if you are shy. Please stick to the rules to ensure an authentic experience. The onsen area is single sex. There are often special offers... More

Instead of just binds or curtains, there's 1 room for each person when you have your massage. Onsen is japanese style and is enjoyable as long as it is not crowded. Facilities are well maintained after a recent renovation. Tip: Get your hotel to assist you in the reservation. There's free shuttle and tuk tuk service to and fro the... More

Booking an appointment for the Thai massage was easily done by email. Their email confirmation came within a day. The best part was when I turned up at the reception, they immediately knew who I was. Awesome!! The reception staff were efficient and friendly. However, the facilities staff were a bit vague and unclear about what we have to do... More

We had the traditional Thai massage and requested for male therapists. We were very pleased with their customer service, massage skill and ambiance. It is also reasonably priced. Definitely will come back when we next visit Bangkok

This place is a real find in Bangkok. It is reasonable priced and has a variety of packages if you want more than an onsen. It's well organised, with a tuk tuk to Phrom Pong BTS, a cafe that serves delicious fresh food, a quiet room where we had a sleep for a few hours and most importantly an onsen.... More

It is a very clean and comfortable place. It has a small cafe so that friends can have a small chat before go into Onsen or massage. The massage therapist varies though but most of the time you can get a fair one. Recommended

This massage & spa establishment is still my first choice when I go massage. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. It brighten up my day when I see them always smiling at us. I visited Yunomori twice during my 5 days stay in Bangkok. On the first visit the temperature seemed lower, but on the second visit it seemed... More

Their signatory package is super value. The onsen experience and great massage after that, release all the fatique in your body. Recommend to go during off peak hours for better enjoyment and spend longer time for their service.

I didn't use any of the massage or spa services - only the onsen, which was adequate - though the overall experience was lacking. Staff at the entrance were polite but not really welcoming or friendly. Lockers were small, with no option for hanging clothes. Locker-room bathroom consisted only of urinals, should you need a toilet you had to get... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
