Now admittedly I am a guy and shopping is not something guys like to do. But in this case I wanted to pass along a few bits of information that only a local would know about. I would have to say that Panthip plaza is perhaps the most visited place for me. If I go there it is either because... More

The biggest electronics market in Bangkok! If you need anything you will find it there. and the area is all packed up with shopping malls. It needs almost 1 full day to go through all the malls quickly.

I was expecting quite a lot about this place as an IT geek, most of the places offer the same things, there are no awesome gadgets, it is difficult to determine fake and non fake products....

You can shop here for computers (hardware/software), photographic equipment and phones. What I do is go to the bigger stores (especially IT City on the top floor, or Banana IT) to get an idea of what's available and what the prices are, and then look at the smaller stores which often have a slightly cheaper price. Most shops here open... More

This is located in Pratunam and have all brands of laptops, digital cameras, mobile phones and accessories. While they have all genuine products, the prices are more expensive than Singapore.

Excellent place to shop for IT gear. Lots of small shops inside that can help you find pretty much anything. Excellent selection of hard cases for gaming. Don't think it's all inexpensive or copies. So the prices are comparable to online prices from the manufacturer. But if you need it. It's there

We actually went out to check TV's but there was only one store on 5th floor selling and that too only Samsung and LG ...some 10 models overall. However there were a lot of stores selling Mobiles and accessories and lots of fake electronics too. Like we were shown a 10.1 inch Samsung Tab (bad replica) for like 65$...the box... More

If however you looking for spare parts, seeking some odd lost cable, interested in purchasing a fake program, then you've come to the right place.Hundreds of small shops that take your breath away.

A big mall with lots of small computer stores. If you know what you are looking for, this is probably a great place. If you are just looking around it is difficult, too many small stores.

It's not Akehabera, but you can find most things you need here, including good digital camera options and a host of small USB devices. I found the top floors best for the kind of industrial grade power boards and older tech gear I like to find, but you can get novelty USB cables and clothes-peg style camera lenses to clip... More
