Very nice and local seafood place. Noi seafood near to night market. Decent place with local price and is air conditioned. Not easily noticeable. Good for family and big group.

How to get there: From Huay Kwang MRT Station, take exit 3. You'll see steps going down. From the steps, turn your body to the left and walk down the sidewalk along Ratchadaphisek Road to the corner of Pracha Songkhro Rd. [about 50 steps]. Across the street is the Ganesha shrine. Go down to the left of Pracha Songkhro Rd.
Best time to go there is at around 7:30 pm.
Mostly locals shopping there. At Huay Kwang market, you will find a variety of almost everything you need. From the usual street food, pharmacies, postal outlets, to array of stores selling clothing, shoes, undies, toiletries, make-up to fresh fruit and veggies, flowers, seafood and fresh meat and innards to stir fry or grill. There's turtles too to make your turtle soup. If you need spices, you can find it there too. For all your fixings, find it here. I found Huai Kwang market amazing!

I have never heard of this market until a few days before I leave for BKK.
Huai Khwang is usually associated with massages but it does have its residential part.
To get to this market, take the MRT to Huai Khwang MRT Station. Exit from Exit 3 and once you are outside the station, make a 180 degrees turn and walk to the nearest road intersection.
At the intersection, turn left and start walking. It is already the start of the night market.
In the first part of the market, stalls sell general merchandise and there are several road side food stalls.
The most famous food stall along the stretch should be Noi Seafood.
Huai Khwang night market is a food heaven. There are so many food stalls selling all kinds of food. From the food we have here in the 80s until it was ban and to pizza! It is a pity that most stall owners do not know to speak English as I would really try to the food. However you still can order them by pointing!
Walking further down will bring you to their wet market where they sell their fresh produce.
From seafood, poultry, fruits, vegetables and internal organs of an animal.
Walking further down will bring you to some general merchandise again.
I really can’t see the end of the market. After 30 mins, I turn back and walk my way back to the MRT station.
The market is worth visiting if you are interested in a local market. There are not many tourist and during my initial stay there, it seems like I am the only foreigner. However as I leave the market, I can see other tourist coming.
Also as this is a local market, do not expect English sign to be posted everywhere.

To get to Haui Khwang you get on the MRT at Silom cost Bhat 31 make sure you get on at front of the train as you will find it a lot easier,up the stairs turn left and up the stairs again and you are there, yes there a few massage places but you don't get any touts pestering you.On the left hand side there is an open air bar where I found the drinks quite cheap, not like Patpong you can relax with a few beers ect and visit the Bhudda temple on the corner which I found interesting then head towards the night market,on the side you will find a few people who do the reading of Tarot cards and you are there,no bustling crowds, it is really a treat for your partner, the stalls full of ladies stuff, shops for painting nails or to have a hair do and treat her to some lovely fresh roses.I found the best way is to walk one way down and then the other side back to your starting point. The display of fresh exotic fruit ,different sea food is amazing, the local food is very tasty and cheap,I had a plate of sea food with rice and a beer Bhat 120 now that is how the local folk eat in all my travels eating at trendy places is a waste of time and money and what you save is a bonus.Try not to spend more then 4 hrs as you also need time to relax and enjoy your drinks and food and remember that the last train back to SILOM is at 11-25 pm or it would cost you more to get back.I got to like this place and to make the trip a few times that was enjoyable. It will soon be a month for me in Bangkok living near Patpong and eating Thai food every day I ventured further down the Silom road and found a place called Cafe the India just on the other side of Thai Airways office and the last time I had Indian food was in Bombay on my way to Dubai so I went in and treated myself to some really good Indian food served by friendly staff and the price was very good.I hope you enjoy the trip to Huai Khwang as I did, next week I will be of to Malaysia to see what is on offer there,

If you can't sleep while on vacay in Bangkok, do drop by this place for the night view. See the locals hangout after work in a relaxed and casual setting. There's food, culture and lots of life, even though it may be 4am in the morning.

They start the business on in front of the shoplots (like in Haiyat and Yogyakarta) around 8-9pm, can get food and fruit at lower prices than chatuchak. There are 7-11 and a local shop which similar to 7-11. The local shop sells the many cosmetic, medicine , instant noodle, vodka and others with lower prices than 7-11.
Beside Big C and Tesco, here is our third choice. The massage here is good and cheap too, we got the thai massage for 150B for an hour.

I liked it a lot and have been back on this trip too... its an older style of BKK and interesting. I like the food and the funky little places... the multilevel market is especially fascinating. Lots of good food in street and in restaurants.

Title says it all, you’re better off with the other night markets. We had dinner at one of the more popular restaurants here and that gave one of our friends, food poisoning. Bad experience really.

Lots of shopping and nice food. Not too cheap considering BKK standards but acceptable.
Walk towards the elephant god nearby to pray if you gave the time.

Not sure if this is a serious question. But no, there is no rabbit meat here. Thai people are not too fond for rabbit meat
