I personally found this place better to shop and chill than MBK. The place has a nice vibe to it plus the kids can enjoy a lot.

Either get a river taxi to Asiatique or a taxi via the road. Both are very cheap. No fee is charged to go to Asiatique.

It’s a river side place with lots of restaurants, so I think the embience will be perfect. Can’t really recommend any place to you but there are heaps. I am sure you will find one to suit the occasion.
