The airport link is very inexpensive, safe, and above all, quite fast. If you hate traffic, I can highly recommend the link. From Makkasan station, the trip to the airport is about 30 minutes and add about 10 minutes if traveling from Phaya Thai station.

Fast, cheap, easy to use. Great way into the airport from the centre of the city. Only use for BKK though, not DMK!
