Fashion Island, met my in laws and friends there for lunch. Many restaurants to choose from and the cost is pretty good.
Many stalls selling local Thai Food.
Should visit there while in Bangkok.

We had lunch at Fashion Island after visiting the Fo Guang San Temple. The mall has good shops and good restaurants. The mall is beautiful. The parking is well maintained. We went to Home Pro hardware store.

This mall was really great. It was the first time during my visit to Thailand (and maybe in my whole life) to be the only Caucasian person i saw for the entire day which was a really interesting experience for whatever reason. I didn't bother doing any shopping here but I found my favorite game "taiko drum master" in the arcade, played pool, went bowling, saw a movie and ate some really bizarre food that is still a mystery to me what it may have been. I'd go back :)

Passed by this Neighbourhood mall on a Sunday afternoon and was searching almost 45 minutes looking for a parking lot with my friend. Level 1 and 2 is out of bound to normal visitors and only reserved for VIPs of the management. Saw hundreds of empty lots with no VIP parking there. The mall is discouraging normal people from coming to shop here except only the VIPs. PS: Try not coming here on the weekends, you'll waste time finding carpark spaces.

Fashion Mall is about 3km away from Siam City Park. The mall is huge, spacious and clean. We went directly to the highest level and find the children playground for them. I would say this is the best playground in a shopping mall. It is clean, bright and colourful.
The staff in the mall is very friendly but English is not widely spoken here as this mall is catered more to local Thai. It seems like we are the only tourist there!
It is the good outing away from all the tourist mall.

located outskirt of Bangkok. We went here right after visiting Safari World and had lunch as there’s one stall at the food court selling Halal food. There’s also a small indoor amusement park for children as well.

I went to the Sweet bakery festival at Fashion Island. This complex is huge, there's so much to do here, and there's also a cinema and an ice rink. We travelled from Suvarnabhumi area and it was approximately 250 baht in a taxi. You can see a video from the festival on my Youtube channel.

When my Thai friend asked me to meet for dinner in Fashion Island, I asked myself "Is there an island in Bangkok". Out of curiosity, I took taxi to this modern and large mall located at the cross roads of two motorways on the outskirts of Bangkok’s Ramintra Road, Kannayao district. The mall, whilst containing all of the shops and conveniences that other malls sport, does have a bias towards fashion outlets, hence its name. On site, apart from a large Robinson’s department store, numerous coffee shops and other eateries, is a very nice collection of clothes and shoe shops providing shoppers with a great choice of new apparel possibilities. I also noticed an extensive range of jewelry and watch dealers plus some home improvement and interior design specialists. This is a very large mall which also has an entertainment complex and Cineplex on site too. Fashion Island is located at the intersection of the outer ring road and highway 304. I will be back again this year.

I live in the area so it's perfect for us...shopping, food...they have so much to offer. Even if you have to travel from bangkok city centre I would recommend it if you have children as it has the biggest play area I've seen in bangkok upto now. My son loves it...they have a massive play area with slides, balls, climbing things and more for only 100baht an hour, a train that drives around a track for 50baht, giant plastic bubbles that kids climb into then run about on water! , a bouncy castle and tonnes of games machines. There's also bowling, cinema and another smaller play area near the thai food court. Well worth it :)

Fashion island is fine if you live in the area - and yes we used to BUT thatsaid itis just another average mall build nicely bu wit no purpose as far as i see it. Better go to the fresh market or to te upmarket malls on sukhumvit

Synsiri hotel near the fashion island. This is a 3 star hotel, usually for golfers as there is a 18 holes course near this area. Don't expect too much from this hotel as it is not well maintained and dirty.

Not really a short walk, but an easy scooter taxi ride of about 2 km. The Viva Residence is the closest at 902 baht. The Naturbliss Boutique 1066 baht. And the MEET Green Apartment 950 baht.
