The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
How to get there

We chose the couples thai massage which was womderful after a long flight, and a day walking around in the heat. The massage therapists and receptionist were very professional. We believed it was good value for the money we paid.

We stayed at the President Solitaire hotel and the Ananda Spa is part of the hotel. After a long day out in the heat and hustle and bustle of Bangkok, the 2.5 hour Couple Retreat treatment was a delightful experience. Reasonably priced, a lovely couple room, a great, attentive and warm service and a really great massage. We would go back.

This is a lovely spa and we always make it a point to stop here whenever we are in Bangkok. We book a day before and usually ask for the couples room (which is great because it has a toilet, shower and changing area). If we are staying at a nearby hotel, they'll usually send the hotel's golf cart to pick us up and then bring us back.
The therapists are great, the massages are wonderful and so are the facials. The prices are good for what you are getting. Oh- and the tea is amazing!

This is not the ordinary massage shop on the street like everywhere in Bangkok, its nicely decorated with relaxing aroma smell in the air.

Was a bit of a mission to find, even we called to reception for directions, wasnt easy.

Massage was nice and relaxing but was expecting a bit more magic for this price.

From the photos online, it looked like a real swish place. We were a bit surprised to see its inside an old shophouse in a rather dodgy street, but when we got inside reception area was nice and reception attendant friendly and helpful. Massage room was very big but looking a bit dated and tired. The massage was nice and relaxing for me but wife said her masseuses was moving her hands too fast, not getting the knots out.

Love the thai massage.... With herbal ball makes it perfect. But their foot massage really so so. Starting with soaking your feet into cold water is really not a right start.

Ananda spa part of the President Group was everything I expected of it .. I arrived without an appointment and waited a total of 10 mins while they got my details and I was shown into the room .. This was a spacious therapy room that included the massage tables, a shower and jacuzzi which is available depending on the package you take ..
I got a salt body rub followed by oil massage, 2hrs total and I left feeling very refreshed ..
The staff were very friendly, speaking good english and accomodating ..
The masseuse very professional in the massage, and spoke good english as well ..

Since I was staying at Kingston Suites, part of the same group, I was also entitled to a discount on the services provided ..

No regrets from me, I had a great time there and would not hesitate to use them again

Did seem more expensive than the average spa but both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the massages. The place was neat and clean and the masseuse really good. Felt completely relaxed.

We were staying at the President Solitaire Hotel and I have been looking at their spa menu for a couple of days. After walking back to our hotel after an early dinner, I decided to walk in and make a booking. Greeted by a friendly receptionist, I was able to get an appointment straight away. I opted for the Ananda Facial. The place has a warm ambience, reasonably priced, staff are warm and attentive and felt so relaxed afterwards. Yes there are other places around the area that you can get a facial for cheaper but if you like to be pampered, this is the place to go.

I tried a few places in the area, and I think this is definitely one of the better one. Staff are very professional and polite. The place is clean and quiet. And most importantly, the quality of the massage is definitely up there with the best. They have a good options of massage for you to choose from, so we were able to get what we wanted. We went there twice, and with different massagers, the quality seems to be consistant. It might not carry the reputation or service of a 5-star hotel spa, but you won't be disappointed for sure. The only suggestion I might have is th open hour, they open only til 10pm, so you might have to rush through your dinner if you want to do a longer massage. but overall, great value!! would definitely visit again if I get a chance.
