Neighbourhood: Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

    Stunning views of Bangkok
The place to see gorgeous, stunning 360 degree views of this sprawling city. Best time to go is just before sunset as it's much cooler and you get to see night lights as well. Nice chill vibe with music at the rooftop bar. But it tends to get more crowded as well.

    HIGHTLY RECOMMENDING
This is a gorgeous building. I booked tickets in online it was easy. The elevator is quick and provides a cool show as every wall is a screen. I go directly to the skywalk though. when you go you need to leave your shoes and bag. It look like you are standing in air. It is a lot of fun and excitement tio the experience. It will be crowded on the rooftop. I would like to highly recommend this experience to anyone. The rooftop is amazing views of the city of BKK and i enjoyed it . If you have planing to visit Bangkok in Your future, i will be recommending it to go with friends or whosever.

    Good view, overall nice experience
This is one of the more recent attractions in Bangkok. It is the tallest view point of Bangkok. The best part of Mahanakhon is that unlike KL Tower there is no time limit. You can spend as much time as you want enjoying the views of the Bangkok city from the top. The roof top is open so the photos work out better without the glass obstruction. There is a glass bottom walk for an added attraction.

Best views of the whole city
This is the tallest skyscraper in Bangkok and ultra modern. Fast elevators whisk you up 84 floors to the open roof top terrace. For those brave enough there is a glass floor that you can walk out onto and look 130 meters down. Otherwise you can order a drink from the bar and sit and chill whilst taking in the 360 view of the city. Great fun and well worth the price of admission

    Fantastic views and worthwhile experience.
Worthwhile experience, be ready for sweaty palms walking on the see through floor hanging on the side of the building. No cameras allowed on the see through floor but you can get someone to lean over and take a photo of you on it. The best time to go is night time, you can see the whole of Bangkok lit up, spectacular view. The vibe on the top floor is brilliant, they have a bar there as well so you can spend a bit of time getting up the courage to walk out onto the floor or have a couple of drinks to just enjoy the view.

    Well worth a visit
The Mahanakhon Tower was near my hotel, so thought I would try it out on my short trip to Bangkok. I booked online for an afternoon slot. From entering the tower to arriving at the viewing platform was very well organised and a pleasant experience. From the top of the tower, you get spectacular views across Bangkok. Not for the faint-hearted but the skywalk is fun. I stopped and enjoyed a beer at the top as the sun was beginning to set.

Well worth it (even with young children)
During my previous visits to Bangkok this magnificent building was under construction, with the opening delayed. Then COVID-19 came, So when we came back to Bangkok this year we finally got the chance to go up and see it! The process of getting into the building is Thai logic at its best. Tickets get checked many times, with staff sending you around the place. Giving conflicting instructions. One guy looked like he just start Jed his shift, with his personal bag still on his shoulders, but he was giving us instructions only to receive conflicting instructions from another member of staff. Again asking for your ticket. You’d think checking once would be enough, rather than about five times. Also, there are no bags and strollers allowed. So keep this in mind while travelling with small children. Staff do offer paper bags to put essentials such as diapers in. Lockers were full (after we were sent back and forth by staff). In the end we were issued a ticket and our prams and bag were ushered to the back in a cart. So again not quite sure what the process here is. From the moment you step in the elevator the show is on. The view from the top is stunning. Dwarfing the Lebua State tower. Walking the glass floor is very cool not for the faint hearted. Also, this can get very busy. And unfortunately, with people having a har drone following the simple rules of not taking stuff and pictures on the glass floor. We were there during the sunset, which was amazing. But do expect long queues on the lifts down. Another thing that amazed me was that, despite the steep entrance price and price of drinks at the bar, the picture booklet was only 200 baht! This is definitely a must do attraction when you’re in Bangkok.

    Highlight in Bangkok

    Amazing Views!
Amazing views and atmosphere! We arrived at the building at 10am, purchased tickets (880 THB pp) and went straight up to the 74th floor (the observatory) then the 78th floor to walk along the skywalk/glass floor which was exhilarating! Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back to see the views at sunset/night.

I surprised our group with a visit to the Skywalk and I must say I was rather embarrassed. First of all traffic was bottlenecked (no fault of the venue) so it took forever to get there.I certainly expected the crowds but once we got to the top it was pandemonium! Do we really need modern pop music BLARING from speakers? The top floor was jammed with so many people it felt unsafe. Those who had paid extra for tables and bottle service were separated from the masses with a slender rope and were granted the best viewing spots blocking the view for the rest of us. All in all the whole experience reeked of low brow.

Nice view of the city from the top of the building, the skywalk. Elevator is well done also, with really cool graphics. We had a nice time taking in the sights at the top.

Probably the worst experience i had in a long time. I travel all over the world and visited similar places such as the Burj Khalifa in the Emirates. So,,the bottom line is that the place is completely in constant Chaos and poorly managed.
I went there with my Girl Friend with advanced tickets for a specific time slot around sunset. There is a Looong line to get in, there is no way they are monitoring how many people come in at any specific "slot" time. there is line after line after line , people are stuffed like sardines everywhere even before you get up to the top. And then, the real mess begins,, There are hoards of people on top, again like sardines in a can and if you want some spot to take photos near the glass wall,, well,, good luck,, it is terrible. As far as the "glass floor" goes, another line you have to stand in because they restrict the number of people that can go on the glass floor at any one time (which i fully understand, for safety reasons) however, if you stand in that line waiting to go on the floor you are not enjoin the experience of taking photos or seeing the view outside. I cant stress enough,, Hoards of people, no room to even stand properly anywhere, let alone next to the glass wall.
Than there is another loooong line to get down with the elevator.
DO NOT GO THERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. its a total waste of money. Of course, if you go at noon time it may be less busy but you will "cook" there on top from the heat.

The View itself is very nice however there are MANY rooftop bars in BKK where you can go at sunset and see the City with similar view white you just have a drink and don't have couple thousand pushy tourists and inch from your face.
I normally check reviews before going to such places, this was a last minute idea and i "assumed" its fine so i did not bother, had i checked reviews i would not have gone as well.
