Great for a relaxing time!

Great little spot off Khao San Road. Enjoy a massage, a manicure or any other beauty services at your disposal. The staff is lovely and the prices reasonable!

Having spent the best part of a week in Bangkok, and having at least one spa service each day, based on our experience, the best overall package treatment was at Shewa on Rambuttri Street. Don't be put off by the myriad of Touters on the sidewalk. Just walk right past them and walk right in. Recommended is the Amazing Jasmine... More

The Hollywood waxing was just wonderful! In fact it was the best waxing I ever had. It almost didn't hurt, the woman was really nice and had a good technique. The price was 500 Baht which is nothing compared to other waxing studios.

My friend and I were looking for the best price on the strip for mani-pedi right after we checked into our hostel. It was a great combo price we found, 400 baht. Great service. It was sanitary. Comfortable chairs that we fell asleep in. We later returned there for the outdoor leg massages on a separate day.

I first went here to get my eyebrows waxed, my technician did a fairly good job. I was satisfied. They are very friendly and accommodating. I went back the next day with my boyfriend to get a foot massage. I enjoyed mine VERY much, she did a great job and it was so relaxing. I didn't even feel like I... More

Had an awesome Thai massage for both myself and hubby during the first day of our trip, by two senior masseurs in brown uniform. Deep, firm, and accurate to each pressure points which was super relaxing! Price is quite cheap also for an hour at 250baht each. It supposed to earn a 5 star from me but we returned for... More

-ve - located in a busy street so I did not choose the foot massage on the street. +ve - welcoming staff. Clean place. Had a great manicure and pedicure by Natthawan. The herbal massage was also amazing. I walked in and brought my husband for a pedicure.

Shewa really provides an escape from the hustle and bustle of the street outside. I attended more than once during my stay in Bangkok opting for massage and facial. Both treatments were very good and green tea after was a nice touch. Would absolutely recommend great value for money and lovely staff! Only wish I was there now!

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
