This place is absolutely trash. There are very few stalls and it is a 100% tourist trap.

Went to the restaurant where male waiters are dressed in loud and colorful woman costumes. The food tasted horrible! The menu was very limited and everything was precooked and not cooked on the spot upon ordering. The fried rice was cold, bland, stale and very pricey. The fresh oysters were frozen but marketed as ‘fresh’ (please see photo). The Tom yum soup was cold and tasteless. The papaya salad was so salty that it was almost inedible. The only attraction was waiters dancing to loud music during the meal if you are into that kind of cheap thrills.

If you are into horrible tasting food and drag queens dancing during your meal, then you can consider this. By the way, the location is quite far from the city and only accessible by taxi. We had a daunting task getting taxi back to the city as we could not get any Grab or Bolt driver who would come. Those that we flagged down along the road all refused to use the meter and quoted exorbitant prices! After about 30 minutes trying our luck to flag down an honest taxi driver, we gave up
and paid 500 baht for our trip back to Sukhumvit. We paid only 180 baht to get there from our hotel. So you need to be prepared to be fleeced by dishonest taxi drivers on the way back.

Less touristy, a lot more locals. More spacious compared to other night markets. Large variety of items to shop. Food vendors don't really speak english but very helpful and friendly! It is about 20-25 mins away from Asok area and best to cab/grab there!

Took a uber to this night market for about an hour journey. Everything here in the market is written in Thai.

Had dinner here that cost about 400thb for a big, tom yum soup, fried chicken and pork which was very reasonable. The food here is cheaper than the more popular night markets.

Shopping wise, the other bigger popular night market will offer more choices.

This market is a little difficult to get too- Take a taxi is the easiest way.
Open from 5-11pm it is very clean with wide walkways fantastic live music and an abundance of food vendor stalls.
Every stall has different goods so you don’t see the duplication of the same things over and over again at other markets.
Very few tourist no need to bargain as prices are very low and generally fixed.
I’m going back again soon.
My local friend did say though that they may be closing up this fantastic night market in the next year.
Recommend to anyone wanting a bargain.

Definitely one of the market that worthwhile for you to travel a lit bit further. The key focus is on the seafood restaurant with hot guys. We had a shabu shabu there, only costs us thb 300, without minimum order. That's great!

Located at the outskirt from heart of Bangkok, you will discover this very local night market. It has the same set up at Rot Fai but a lot more spacious and the cost is much lower.

To get there, it is best advice to catch a Grab, Uber or Taxi down as there are no train stations nearby. The journey depending on traffic is about 35-45mins travelling on the freeway.

I will advise visitors to reach early evening to dine at one of their many pop up stalls, pub, restaurants or a local tentage push carts. With easily more than 50 choices of food, there is something for everyone from Thai to Italian to regular western, they all can be found at Hua Mun. I would stall pop to have a chance at various food, rather than be seated at one single location and dine.

Shopping can be found right next to the food stall and it goes around the entire compound. It's very local as most of the signage are in Thai however, the stall owners do speak simple English. Sometimes, a calculator is sufficient to negotiate prices. Comparing to other night and weekend markets like Chatuchak and Neon, the prices are generally about 20-30 baht lower and they are pretty open to a good bargain.

Overall, this night market is amazing! With local bands playing at various corners, pub, restaurants to supply entertainment and food right from the entrance plus, endless shopping. It is a great place to hang out for an evening, Don't Miss It!

Me and My Friend were visiting this place called “ HuamumnNightMarket” at the first thought we thought the market would be just like usual night market, but our eyed were attracted by one restaurant that had a lot “ Hot Man “ we decided to go there and it was Fun, like really Fun actually, also the price for the food was not really expensive, we ordered only two Set of Scallops and it only cost us 450 baht. You will “ had no idea “ experience like this when you step in this restaurant.

The weather was cool when we visited in mid-Jan which makes the whole experience a wonderful one. Came here by Grab from Ibis Siam hotel, it's quite a distance but can't remember the duration it takes.

Each row of stalls have wide walking path to shop. And it seems this place is still under radar from tourist mob. Barely see any other tourist around.
Guess prices are set at what the locals would be very much likely to pay for. Communication using English is really at a minimal level over here.
Snacks which we tried so far are yummy too!
Fried wantons (huge pack) / Satay / thin crisp pan cake roll / grass jelly fresh milk drink /traditional thai snacks...
We got quite a few items ( earrings / handicraft floor mat / dresses ) at quite a unbelievable rate.
There was also a live band at the stage which makes the evening so enjoyable.

It's the going back to hotel journey that kills the experience.
Apparently, we had cab drivers who have quoted us 4 times the amount for what we had paid for to get here. After checking out with a few cabs, ended up with a 2x more ride. Grab wasn't quite feasible as we had cab drivers who cancelled us out upon reaching there. Since it might not be easy to locate us, I guess.
