The whole trip was spoilt by lying local tour package sellers saying that this place can only be accessed by boat. Which you can go there via Grab (with a luxury car at 10% of the price)
Any long tail tour is just a scam, and dangerous there are no safety measures whatsoever.
After that you will pass through smelly canal, pathetic make shift one boat floating market treating tourist as idiots. (30 years back floating market is not as pathetic as this)
Dilapidated houses (trying to show how the local stay) which is ironic as most countries want to display the best to tourists.
Going to this market you see things that you can get at Jodd Fair, at Icon Siam with better experience.
The boat tour requires you to tour the area within 30min which is pathetic.
If you wish to enjoy the place just take a Grab and take your time. At least the build up to the place provides a nice experience rather than seeing broken houses, smelly canals and dirty water.

Had a bitter experience with a boat driver during the boat ride along the canal. The amount was fixed before the ride and during the ride, he wanted the payment and at the end of ride, demanded more. Hence, please fix the amount in writing before the trip.

we really enjoyed the tour, specially my kids. we experience many local foods, but didn't buy any souvenirs because bit expensive than other places. but the place was really nice and we talked to the people, they were really helpful and friendly. some offer my kids some food and fruits for free. really nice place and people.

Rather than a true floating market, this market is located adjacent to the canal. Lots of artisans selling handmade items, some food stalls and lots to see and experience. A fun way to spend a few hours. You can also catch a longboat here to travel either up or down the canal to other markets.

Lots of shops to buy things from and if you know how to bargain then you can get a very price of as well. There are places where you can take pictures with the big snakes.
But the water stinks so be careful.

That’s a very good experience,
It’s amazing how the people living and make a business and also how’s organized, it looks like confuse but they have the rules traffic and respect each other’s. There are so many things to buy like a souvenir, food and clothes.
I’m totally recommend!!!

I really like this place. It's a peaceful community and comes with cute souvenirs. There is also a boat ride to see the atmosphere. It's really nice. And another fun activity is stringing beads to make bracelets. and coloring tree baskets

Unfortunately, there is no more floating market at this location. We went on a Saturday and thought it was because it was the Vesak holiday that there was no floating market. But we spoke with a vendor and they said it isn’t here anymore. There are still food vendors along with neighborhood and an artist alleyway, and the Artist House and a copycat place to that next door. You can still buy fish food to feed the huge catfish and carp? in the river too.
It’s unfortunate that the lack of the floating market affects the surrounding community. The Artist House (where you can paint, do beads, etc.) was packed, and the place next door that offered the same thing was very busy as well. You can easily waste an hour or two doing some crafts at these places if you can get a spot on a busy weekend afternoon.

There is definitely no floating market at this place on Wednesdays, even if it says so on Google.
When is there a floating market there? We haven't found out. However, you can easily walk part of the way along the klong from the place and if you're good on your feet, you can use Google Maps to walk back towards Wat Arun through the alleys or towards the Prannok water taxi stop. It's a comfortable 1-hour walk through small alleys and medium-sized streets. If you're curious, you can discover a lot.

You can take bts to Siam station and transfer the train to Bang Wa which is terminal station. And then you can walk to there in 30mins. Or you can take boat which goes there straightly underneath Bang wa station.
