After reading the rave reviews about the quality of food sold there , I threw caution to the wind. I don't mind paying a higher price for quality food n that's what we did the evening before we departed Bangkok for home. We decided to...More

Interesting side trip and easy to get to on the BTS/MRT. Very clean and bright for a wet market. Excellent range of fruit, vegetables and dried goods.

Every weekend, thousands of tourists make their way up
to this Northern Bangkok suburb to get lost in an
enormous maze of shops at the Chatuchak Weekend
Market. Home to almost 10,000 vendors, you’ll find
everything from vintage sneakers to comic books and
Thai handicrafts being sold here. You name it,
Chatuchack probably sells it. The market is a great
place to pick up souvenirs, but be sure to bargain for

Or Tor Kor is a fresh food market but occasionally you find people selling other thing like artificial plants. I think it's best to go to Chatucak. There are lots of stores there that sells artificial plants. Happy shopping.
