Visit if you are sikh visiting Bangkok. Also couple of nice little Indian restaurants near by especially if you are vegetarian or fed up of local food. Temple is really nice situated on number of floors. Very peaceful.

Its a place of worship of sikh. If you are interested to get a chance to blend in the sikh culture, there's no better place. The sikh welcomes everbody from every walk of life. Dont forget to stop on the second floor where you can have some "langar" before you leave. Langar is offering of food..so nobody leaves empty stomach. Waheguru ji ka khalsa...waheguru ji ki fateh!

I was there for praying respect the gods of the world as Hidusim believes. It brought me to another world, I could say it's a place of Gods, and It's all abut Gods if you believe so.

Located off Th Chakkaraphet, this 7 storey golden dome temple is devoted to the worship of the Guru Granth Sahib, the 17th century Sikh holy book. Visitors are welcomed to partake in the langar which is the communal meal served in the temple. Make sure you climb to the top of the shrine for panoramic views of Chinatown.

YES, you can enter without a guide and you are welcome to do so.
It might seem intimidating if you've never entered a Sikh Temple, but I did it myself and these people are quite friendly and hospitable. Leave your shoes at the vestiary and wear a scarf which is freely at your disposal to cover your head. You can also sample quite delicious vegetarian dishes for free but leave a donation for the Temple.
You can also visit the worship hall. It might not be as lavishly decorated as some Buddhist temples, nor does it have the impressive exterior to draw you in, but this is a unique experience you surely should embrace to get to know more about a religion many are not familiar with.

While visiting the Indian neighbourhood we found that place. With no idea of what it was we get in it. When realising it was a community place we wanted to go out but an old person really wanted us to stay and have a look. We get a scarf to cover our head and were brought to the place where the guru was. People smiling to us even if we were Caucasian. When we left couple of minutes after they proposed us to join their lunch. So surprising. We kindly declined but we did learn a bit about the Sikh culture. Good to feel stranger and welcome!

Nice temple in the middle of the Indian markets of Bangkok (not far from Chinatown). I believe the main hall was a few floors up. Very helpful men who kept our shoes while we went upstairs. Langar was not being served at the time, just leftovers from earlier in the day. Overall, would only visit if you are a Sikh yourself as there is not much to see but still a nice place to visit if you want to see a Sikh temple in Thailand.

A Sikh temple on various levels. An interesting experience with pleasant attendees.
Not a great attraction - unless you are Sikh of course but, pleasant for a visit and, wrapped around by an enjoyable market to explore.
