Took the sleeper train from Padang Besar to Bangkok. Going to Bangkok, it was raining at night, and there's water leaking from the window to the bed. I think the train is a bit old. Try avoid seat near the door. It's a bit noisy.

Went south on the air conditioned train Ann's returned via the local non ac train. Great experience with many photo opportunities of the rural country side. Friendly and helpful staff
