Beitou Thermal Valley is 3500 square meters, a depressinon formed before the volcano eruption. The hot spring may reach over 90C in some areas.

Hot springs area. Wonderful place to relax and explore. There are many private hot spring resort here, mostly modelled after Japanese old style bath houses. This is a nice hot spring. This place suits for everyone to relax. You have to take off all clothes and bath before go inside the pool. The temperature of the water is hot.

If you enjoy hot springs this is a place to go. You can go to a public one costing you only 40 NT (worth noticing - no bikinis - you need a swimming wear with a ''skirt'' for guys - tight swimming shorts with no pockets - you can buy them on the spot but they are quite pricy). If... More

An antique but not anitquated by any means. The hot spring hotels offer anything from 2 hours luzuriating in a private hotel spa room to days being able to spa in natural spring waters in your room. Very close to city,,natural hot spring where you could get down from the road directly into the mutiple spots with flowing natural warm water.Very refreshing and unique experience.Many spas also available for private usage of massage etc.,,

Nice awesome place for family with children because easy assess to this area with MRT ....hot a bit but nice place to search for food , try not to take the MRT straight to the hot spring area ... walk a bit that you will find a lot of food to taste... suitable for family with children

Great way to relax and get detoxification. Many of th locals visit the hot springs. It is definitely on the to lists. Many great restaurants in Beitou. Feel rejuvenate after you are done. Skins feels refreshed

There are private rooms available which i reccomend. The public ones didnt attract me. Be prepared to be naked and being stared down by alot of people if u you to the public one
