Loved this place. Clean and well maintained pool of hot spring. I would recommend anyone going here because Taiwan is a beautiful and a lovely place to visit. The country is clean and the people are friendly.

I lived in Taiwan in the early '70's and came back to look at these hot springs. I remember a village with people cooking eggs in the hot water and nice surroundings. Today the springs are surrounded by high rise buildings and there is a...More

Nice experience to have outdoor hot spring in mix pool. But it's good that can wear swimming suit. There's locker for keep you stuff. All are cheap, value to try.

we like to go to Beitou Hot Spring on 17th or 18th June 2017. However as it has been raining a lot this week with potential of flash floor is it still safe for us to visit Beitou Hot Spring for a soak and enjoy the surrounding area ? likewise is it safe to visit Guifeng village the next few days before we depart Taiwan on 20th June 2017. Thanks.

Beitou is high in the mountains. Flooding is not an issue. It's actually a good destination for raining days as u can soak indoors. The only problem is u won't be able to walk around to see other sceneries.

I see people talking about naked bathing and swim wear required. Are there two separate areas with different "rules"? If clothing is required then is it a coed facility?

Clothing is required at any mixed baths(public)..Clothing is prohibited at all separated baths.... you have the public baths which are inexpensive, or you can rent a private room at a hotel for 60-90 minutes
