The museum depicts the history of Beitou and its hot springs and how it details back to the Japanese occupation in Taiwan. We also saw the original hot spring bath which is located in the museum.

This is a beautiful building with a lot of information and insights into the Japanese occupation. You have to change into slippers at the door, which I found a bit dangerous on the slippery staircases. Be careful.

I think this museum is of local interest only, tells the story and development/exploitation of the hot springs in the area.
