We came here during a slight drizzle so that was kinda inconvenient if you have a toddler and a stroller. Most of the places do not have shade or a place to sit down for your meal except for 1 or 2 restaurants we found....More

This place was not too crowded on a weekday. They have just about any souvenir or knick-knack that you can imagine. Depending on the item, it might be cheaper here because the market is so large so prices are more competitive. They have shooting balloon,...More

We went to the nigh market with high hopes of delicious food (we did find a few interesting items) and bargains. What we found were an abundance of crappy carnival games and cheep knickknacks. Don't waste your time.

Stopped off here after a disappointing trip to the National Palace Museum. The marketplace was quite busy but it had a nice feel to it. We tried different types of street food from a number of stalls, a great way to try some local food....More

Majority are food stalls and food item souvenirs. The big chicken fillet you see in blogs, the stall is here. There are some usual bags, keychains, Tshirt souvenir shops but not a lot of choices. Positive part is that while walking along the area, there...More

Food is important for the Chinese culture, so I could not imagine they will be closed throughout the whole New Year period. Contrary, it is probably going to be more crowded that time of year.
