We couldn't get enough of Shilin nightmarket. I think we ate from 8 different vendors. It just goes on and on. Really one of the biggest nightmarket of been to In Asia. The most amazing thing we had was a sort of Chinese pretzel bun,...More

Everything was good but too crowded and hot. We had dinner in the underground food court. The menu showed a set meal of a big plate with ribs, big prawns, veg and orange slices garnishing around the plate. We ordered that but the big plate...More

Easily accessible through "Jiandan" MRT station (red line). This station is nearer to Shihlin night market rather than "Shihlin" MRT station. So make sure you alight at "Jiandan" station. You can find many street foods, souveniers, clothes, shoes, etc.(you name it). There is also an...More

Because of rainy weather we kept underground trying all the different super tasty Taiwanese food. There was a lot of different shops and shopping around. Also a nice temple just by the market that was worth visiting.

Huge night market with loads of food and shopping. I was lost and couldn't work out where to walk!! Prices here are higher than other very local night market as this place is visited by many tourists because it is huge.

Nice night market with different food stalls. It takes 1 hour to see the two sides of the market. A lot of choices to eat local food.

Food is important for the Chinese culture, so I could not imagine they will be closed throughout the whole New Year period. Contrary, it is probably going to be more crowded that time of year.
