Enjoyed this river canoe ride very much. Being in the middle of the jungle is an experience of a lifetime. The river ride was calm and smooth and you're surrounded by wildlife. Our guide, Bhuwan was very informative. This is a must-do.

A great way to see wildlife, birds, mammals and reptiles. A slow paddle down the river to many water birds , including kingfishers and herons.

I kept asking with so many crocs is it safe but they seem to be just at the edges near the shore not really a threat I guess .The serenity of the forest... More

Had a wonderful morning travelling down the river by canoe and our guide was quick to point out photo opportunity for birds and animals along the way. I counted at least 20 crocs along the way - all sunbathing but it added an element of excitement to the trip. Ending at the elephant breeding/training center, we spent some time watching... More

Pay a little extra for one of the older guides (Pem with Guida lodge was great), enjoy the canoe ride, or just watch the animals cross at sunset.

Taking a canoe ride down the Narayani river is a must when visiting Chitwan National Park. We were so lucky to see a mother rhino with her baby on the riverside, countless monkeys, so many birds, and two species (one only slightly less terrifying than the other) of crocs!
