If you are traveling Pokhara, I would highly recommend you visit the Seti river gorge. This river flows directly from the Himalayas. It is also called a wild Himalayan river. Gorge is approximately around 60-80m deep.

Our tour company included a stop here and it was not worthwhile. It was a controlled river that apparently runs to a power plant to provide power. I do not know what others are mentioning with a suspension bridge.
Your time is better spent elsewhere.

I’m not sure I really understood the significance of this attraction. Apart from seeing running water through a controlled channel, there’s really very little to see.

An easy bus ride from lakeside via Chipledhunga to Bagar then a short walk up to the river Gorge.
Take a walk across the massive bridge to Bhalam and then if you are feeling energetic take a walk up the steps (500) to the Hari Har Gupha which gives you fantastic views back across Pokhara.
You may also catch a glimpse of men training on the famous Gurkha DOKU race route....

there is a milky river flowing thru a gorge believed to be from kailash. this flows through the town of pokhara underneath. immediately outside the town this gorge can be seen where the corporation arranged to divert a part of it to the surface. where we can appreciate the milkiness. we can even collect the water. its milky because of salt deposits.

We came here as part of a half day tour. Not quite sure what to expect as we approached it by car, but we were very impressed with the new suspension footbridge. You can walk across it and get fine views of the river below. Not much water in it in October, but it must be roaring in the monsoon. From some previous reviews it looks like they did not find this bridge, so make sure you ask to visit it if you are on a tour.

Crossing the relatively new steel suspension bridge (pedestrians only) is safe and worthwhile because of the good views of the gorge. Although a small gorge by say Grand Canyon standards, it is pretty enough to merit a visit

I would not waste your time or money to stop for this. The garden area is unkempt. The rest is nothing to see but a river running through a gorge way below.

You can visit there if you have enough time in the evenings. Lots of water coming in the valley, i shared image here. One Hindu priest standing there to bless you. Enjoy your time.

This suspension bridge is an interesting insight into Nepalese life, as much foot traffic passes along it connecting the hillside town to downtown. The view down the gorge is also pretty. At the base of the gorge is a pretty waterfall--good for a quick look.

We had a multi-day taxi and so never had to look for transport.
I know it takes slightly less than half an hour from the lakeside.
