It was rainy day. I thought to go trekking but canceled it. Then I got free time and that's why I visited here. It was not boring. Most great thing in this museum is "the Sand Mandala" It is amazing!

The international mountain museum was much larger than I expected. It included not only the expected artefacts from famous climbs in the Himalayas but also geographical and historical displays. The recent earthquakes and floods were covered and information on environmental impacts.

This is a place for extensive learning about the people of mountains and their lifestyle. Not just that it also lists highest peaks and their summits. A small movie is also played, make sure of the timings.
