About
'Cook with delight' is a home based cooking class offered to the foreigners to learn cooking Nepalese cuisine with a lovely local family. Our intention is to teach travelers who want to learn to cook the Nepalese cuisines like Dal Bhat, Mo:mos ,etc. in Pokhara. It's a fun course where the visitors will learn, cook and then finally enjoy their own cooked dish. We love to help you cook your own Nepalese dish!!! (Note: We usually do the class at 5pm. But sometimes the guests may be messaged for different timing.)

My friend and I booked the momo cooking class with Sandhya and her husband and we were so glad we did! We had so much fun and finished off the evening chatting with new friends, eating fantastic momos! Sandhya is a brilliant host with a lovely clean kitchen. Couldnt recommend this course more!

Such a lovely idea to offer momo cooking class. I enjoyed the experience and it was so nice to meet a Nepali woman with this entrepreneurship mindset.

I decided really spontaneously (3 hours in advance) to do this course. I'm so glad I did, because it was an amazing experience and I had lots of fun and felt very welcome. The momos were delicious.

Me and my friends really liked the cooking at hotel Diplomat. The family is very welcoming, open, sweet and enthusiastic. We learned everything: making the dough for the momos, the filling, the red sauce and folding them. We all really loved it and I would strongly strongly recommend this!! (I also recommend to stay at this hotel, it's very nice too). It was delicious! :)

Came here with three friends and had an absolutely amazing evening. The family were so welcoming and happy to talk to us about the culture! The Mo Mo lesson was brilliant and we almost had a trainer each! We made about 60 Mo Mos between the four of us! The food was excellent and it was brilliant to be welcomed into the families home to cook it for a genuine experience! Would and have recommended to others I know coming to Pokhara. So worth the money! Brilliant experience. Thank you very much to the family!

We loved making Dhal Bhat here. Bam is really knowledgeable and a good teacher. Overall a really good experience! Great!

Excellent class - the teacher knows his art well and it was very enjoyable. Easy to find the location and one could either do veggie or chicken option.

My husband and I spent two hours learning how to make the dough, the stuffing and the sauce. We did not manage the perfect shape but we intend to practice with friends. At the end of the class, we ate our iwn momos with a sense of achievement.

Welcoming and generous hosts. The course was fun, accessible and delicious. We took the momo class and the hosts did everything they could to cater to the different requirements of all five people in the group. Highly recommended.

You can book us via facebook page as well. The cost is 19 USD per person per dish. It's a fun course and hope you will love it as well. Thanks. We are at 12th street, Hotel Diplomat.
