Looking for a guided city tour, I came across Walk with Me, an initiative by Welcome to my Yard, a non-profit organisation supporting street children by providing training, education and work. The city tour is partially led by the young people, and the very reasonable fee as well as any voluntary donation support the organisation and their projects. I enjoyed... More

Pratik was already at the meeting point and then took us through streets and small lanes in and around the night market. We also visited a well known samosa spot which was a great experience! Delicious Tip Top samosas - spicy though! It was interesting to learn about certain areas and temples, and to see them at night. Thank you!

When short on time we often like to follow a local guide around a new city to gain access to hidden locations and history that we might not find on our own. We also like to support organizations that seem to have a unique mission and Welcome to my Yard seemed to be one of those. Part of their mission... More

The tour guide was very good and committed. He was well informed. For me personally it was a bit too noisy. To many horns during the part in KTM market for the locals. It was an interesting small insight in Nepali lifes.

We did the 3 hour walk which was very informative and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this as we saw things that we wouldn't have found by ourselves. Our guide was very informative and helpful.

Pratik was a great guide - informative and easy to keep up with. The tour starts with a rickshaw ride, then yummy samosas, then a walk around temples, markets and back streets. Being solo this was a safe way to venture out.

I initially booked the night walk and it was so good I booked the day walk for the following day. It was just me on both walks and the guide Prasant made a real effort to make sure there wasn't too much repetition, even changing the route slightly on the day walk. Prasant is a great guy, very friendly and... More

Pratik was a good guide and we were able to see parts of Kathmandu that we wouldn't have found or walked through on our own.

Did the 1,5h walk alone with Prashant and it was lovely. He is extremely knowledgable about Hinduism, the gods, temples and other POI around Kathmandu. It started raining but it was fine. Well worth it.
