Spent time mediating and exploring this building - while i went during peak tourism, it was still peaceful and i could appreciate the splendor.

we went there in the late afternoon and watched the sunset from a nearby cafe with the view to this wonderful place, where you need to pay 1000Nrs for entering the durbar square. It is ok, but foreign countries gave 4,5 billion dollars to rebuild those things and it is not so much necessary to take quite much money from... More

This temple is damaged in the earthquake and is under restoration. Access inside the temple is not allowed due to the restoration work that is going on. There is a pillar in front of the temple with a garuda facing towards the temple.

Within the premises of Pashupatinath temple premises. One should walk around to visit all of the temples. Takes 2 hours to visit all the temples.

So actually you can see it just from the outside and there is nothing special. You can't... More

This is one of the oldest temples in the square and is is great shape. Itbhas some amazingbcarvings on its roof (including some erotic ones). Yhentemple was built in 1563 and it comprises a 3 level platform and 2 wooden above this. There are a lot of pigeons around this temple and lotsbof mess.

The temple within Durbar sqaure is built of stone and you need to negotiate your way through a very narrow spiral staircase to reach the first floor to have a glimpse of lord krishna as a baby with a mischievous smile on the face
