This temple is unique in itself. One has to climb down several steps in a well and starts the cave where the deity is sitting. It is also unique that it has Sheshashahi Vishnu stone idol in a sleeping position on a Naag. (Kobra) All in a small water tank. The temple is quite clean and one needs to adhere to visiting timings and pay entrance ticket. But this is worth a visit for its uniqueness.

An unique temple of Buddha in water. Be prepared for a long queue and avoid weekends. They do not let photography inside and keep your cameras away

This temple of Lord Bishnu is another great place to visit in Kathmandu if you have time. It's a nice temple with many Hindu people worshiping to get blessed. The best thing I liked here is the carving of Lord Vishnu sleeping over the snakes. The carving of the lord is really eye-catching and looked real to me!

Although this is shown as a temple , you wouldn't find the temple structure around the main deity which is Lord Vishnu sleeping in water on snakes. Instead you will always find a colorful cloth on the top of the deity.
Some things I couldn't understand the logic , we are not allowed to take photo when we visit near the deity , but the surrounding compound offers the same view and we can take snap from there.

Beautiful lying down statue of Lord Vishnu with serpents, carved on a single stone.
Its nothing to do with Buddha. It depicts that its old / ancient.
