We had a great experience with Step on Himalaya, Hari as the organiser, Arjun as our trekking guide. We highly recommend them to others.
We found Hari Kadariya through a friend's recommendation. Despite Hari not being able to lead our trek, he did an excellent job of organising everything in a perfect manner and was a warm and knowledgeable person. He made sure of everything to make our trek hassle-free. We found the tour package to be competitively priced and the tea houses arranged to be of good standard. We were provided with plenty of food, including fruit, nuts, tea, and soup at high altitude.
Arjun Pandey was the guide who led us on our 15-day trek to EBC, Cho La pass, and Gokyo. Arjun was excellent at pacing the trek, ensuring that our group was well acclimatised and comfortable throughout the journey. He also had an incredibly positive and fun attitude, which helped to boost morale when it was low. Arjun became a good friend to us, and we had a closer connection to him than some other trekkers had with their guides.
Arjun went above and beyond to ensure the success of the trek. When our group's porter fell ill the night before Cho La pass, Arjun stepped up to become the porter-guide, carrying the group's bags and ensuring that we made it through the pass safely. He also helped another guide carry down one of their clients who had been struck down by altitude sickness. Arjun's selflessness and generosity were impressive. We were grateful for his help.
Overall, we had an amazing experience with Step on Himalaya, Hari, and Arjun. We highly recommend the company to others and have nothing but praise for their trekking packages. We were also provided with good quality down sleeping bags and jackets by the company, which made the cold nights more bearable. Choose Step on Himalaya for your comfortable travel in Nepal.
