Overview
More
The Garden of Dreams, a neo classical historical garden, is situated in the midst of Kathmandu city, Nepal. The Garden's design has much in common with formal European gardens: paved perimeter paths, punctuated by pavilions, trellises, and various planting areas, surrounded by a sunken flower garden with a large pond at its center. It is an architectural landscape that encourages the visitor to stroll around and discover the Garden's treasures from many different vantage points.

Come here to chill on the grass and get away from the noisy polluted streets. Bring along snacks and water if you want. The teashop and restaurant is very pricey.!

It's beautiful, but too crowded. It's very small for such a crowd of people. But this is my second time and it is worth atleast one time visit.

Beautiful garden in Thamel area. An oasis from the traffic of Kathmandu. There is a cafe/bar in the garden.

Kathmandu can be quite intense, giving the levels op pollution, the dust and the overall noisiness of the city. The garden can be a sweet place to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

A lovely garden, almost a bit Victorian in style. Quiet & peaceful & only a 5 minute walk from Thamel...so when you've had enough of shopping & dodging motor-bikes, it's a good place to go for cold drink, coffee, snacks or lunch. The cafe /restaurant...More

This is definitely the place to go for either a period of solitude, or even a pleasant walk on paths through well laid out gardens. There is a small entrance fee for non Nepalese people of around £1.50 and this allows an unlimited stay. When...More
