Everest Base Camp trek ..
When I made the decision to trek the Gokyo Ri path in 2018, I had ascribed it to my saying that “Gokyo Ri give you the views of Mount Everest, Everest Base Camp gives you the bragging rights”.
Well, a successful Trek to Gokyo Ri in May of 2018 gifted me with incredible views of Mount Everest, Sagarmatha, and I felt exceedingly fulfilled with my journey and blessings received from the mighty Sagarmatha (The Nepali name for Mount Everest is Sagarmatha, meaning "Godess of the Sky." and so a trek to Everest Base Camp was far from my mind.
‘Twas towards the end of August this year that I reached out to Samir and Sauraj and had the pleasure of catching up with both of them for a coffee to explore the trekking itineraries of Adventure Pulse. Both Samir Patham and Sauraj Jhingan, the co-founders of Adventure Pulse have the stupendous distinction of summiting Mount Everest and when Samir mentioned that he would be leading a trek to Everest Base Camp, that was the clincher. To walk with a Mount Everest summiteer and experience the trek to EBC with him had the promise of exciting perspectives and included for me, another opportunity to walk the sacred paths of the Khumbu Valley.
I was not to be disappointed. Samir and the entire team at Adventure pulse had the entire itinerary mapped to perfection. Our daily schedules, our meals, our stays in the best available tea houses, each detail bore the hallmark of a team which not only knew the terrain, but also the people of Nepal and the Khumbu Valley. From shepherding the group with each member having different levels of fitness and speeds of trekking, Samir and his chief sergeant Dhan Dai, ably assisted by other sherpas ensured that each member of our group, not only was kept in sight, but more importantly, motivated and handheld through the oft challenging paths. The team ensured that we all received piping hot meals of our choice, long before they even thought of their own meals. Their support team of porters are also to be highly commended. They left each night stay much after we had all departed and then scrambled to reach our next destination before us, to have our trekking duffel bags neatly lined up outside our respective rooms.
The icing on the cake for a trekker like me was Samir’s personal sharing and conversations as we walked through different villages and drank ‘ginger lemon honey tea’ at various tea houses. His presentation of his and Sauraj’s Mount Everest successful expedition was one which will be long remembered by the group.
All in all, we had an incredibly successful trek to Everest Base Camp. Each and every member made it to touch and stand atop the hallowed “EBC trademark rock”. We began our trek as strangers and are now such bonded friends that no one has yet signed off our EBC WhatsApp group !
Thank You Samir and Sauraj. Thank You Team Adventure Pulse.
On a lighter note .. “I now have the bragging rights too !!” 😁👍🏻

I had an incredible experience on the Kashmir Great Lakes trek organised by Adventure Pulse from July 13th to 21st, 2023. Everything was immaculately planned and executed, from the pre-tour coordination to the thoughtful welcome kit given to each trekker in the group. Our diverse group had participants in their late teens to their late fifties. Still, with the help of a fantastic and supportive team of local trek guides and crew from Adventure Pulse, we all completed the trek successfully. Our safety was always a priority, whether health issues or unpredictable weather. The team went out of their way to make us feel at home at every campsite, to the extent we felt spoiled—morning tea, healthy and wholesome breakfasts and dinners, easy-to-eat packed lunches, soup in the early evening, and desserts after dinner! The attention to detail in every aspect was incredible. So glad I chose to trek with this fantastic team, and I highly recommend it to those interested in trekking in the Himalayas.

A Big Thank You to Adventure Pulse and the team for yet another amazing trek. This was my third trek with AP and they never fail to amaze me with how professionally they organize and manage the treks. What I love the most is that they never over crowd the groups and the group size is small so there’s always personal attention and a good chance to bond with others.
From the time you sign up for the trek till the trek is complete they make sure every little detail is shared with you whether it is the itinerary, physical fitness preparation, list of things to carry and even an orientation call just to brief us so we are prepared what we are stepping into.
A huge thank you to Shraddha, Kesu and the sherpas for handling the team so very well and ensuring everything was smooth sailing. Shradha and Kesu ensured that we all were well taken care off and were extremely patient and caring for the whole team. They were truly the Rockstars ❤️
Looking forward to many more adventures with adventure pulse in the future. Undoubtedly the best in what they do and hence they are my constant for all my trekking adventures.
Thank you once again for another memorable experience ❤️

I want to highlight the team at Adventure Pulse for their help and guidance as our US based group trekked Everest Base Camp (EBC) earlier this month. We had a large group (20) and the team of guides, assistant guides and porters led by Samir helped us have a great time. Our safety was their priority, their anecdotes about the villages we stayed at, the foliage, topography provided another level of education. Thank you again.

To conclude, it was a memorable and soul-enriching expedition and I highly recommend joining Adventure Pulse if anyone seeks a remarkable trekking experience in Kashmir.

I went on Kang Yatse 2 expedition with Adventure Pulse in August 2024. This was my first time hiking in India and joining a group expedition, i have to say that I am very impressed by the team led by Samir & Sauraj. Both are seasoned mountaineers and safety driven, so that gave me peace of mind during the expedition. Excellent service from delicious meals that are beyond my expectation of mountainfare, spacious dining tent with tables & chairs where all climbers got to hang out and of course the top of the cherry is the western toilet, this is such luxury in the middle of mountain. Of course Adventure Pulse has all the top amenities but what makes the expedition so memorable is the presence of Samir & Sauraj, sharing their epic mountaineering adventures with us, cracking jokes, they have been awesome company, so are the other climbers. I have really enjoyed my expedition with Adventure Pulse and I look forward to future expeditions with them.

As a senior citizen, this was the first trek I ever did. I chose the Everest Base Camp trek and could not have completed this difficult trek without the fabulous efforts of Samir Patham, Co-founder of the amazing Adventure Pulse. Consequently, he and his partner, Sauraj Jhingan have the distinction of also having summited Mount Everest apart from other difficult mountains in the Himalayas. They have also summited Mount Kilimanjaro.
We had the privilege of having Samir Patham with our group and he guided us brilliantly throughout the trek. Every evening , he would give a detailed brief of the trek the following day and give useful tips to help us to complete this trek. Thanks to him and his excellent team consisting of Dhan Dai and other sherpas all 14 of us could complete the trek.
Before the trek, we were given a detailed training schedule and complete guidance on the trekking gear, medicines and so on. Adventure Pulse made my dream come true and I would always be grateful for their support. When some of us decided to take a helicopter back on our return, Samir went out of the way to make sure that we got a good charter to take us from Phiriche to Lukla and then Kathmandu. I would strongly recommend everyone to do this Everest Base Camp trek as early as they can. Although there are several trekking groups, I would sincerely recommend Adventure Pulse.

I recently got back from my Annapurna base camp trek in Nepal.. we were a group of 9 women..
It was one of the best experience of my life...
No words can describe what we experienced in trek..
Adventure pulse made sure we all had a very comfortable time not even once we felt tired or worried we faced a snow storm.. Adventure pulse team made sure we reach on time and every person had mental support from them .. they had very good connect with all the tea house owners they made sure about all tiny details.
Whether it was gaining altitude , eating lunch and dinner , our bags always reached our stay before us..
It was a memorable trip ... cant think of doing any trek in my life without Adventura pulse .
It was my second trek with them and they make sure every one in the group is special..
Thank you ...
Adventure pulse for all your support.
Really grateful 🙏

There aren’t enough words to define just how beautiful the trail through the Markha valley, to the summit of Kang Yatse 2 is, nor any that do justice to how amazing it is to have Adventure Pulse lead you through it. As you make your way across the Markha river and wade into its icy waters from time to time, each day is packed with adventure and competes hard to outdo the one before it, offering you stunning vistas of the mountains, tonnes of exotic wildlife, unimaginable contrasts of colours, stunning sunsets and gorgeous meadows to camp in that serve you some of the craziest night skies you’ll ever have a chance to see. I’ve been on lots of expeditions with Adventure Pulse and just when I think I’ve seen it all, these guys go and raise the bar even higher!
It isn’t just the luxury of their super clean portable loos, unbelievably hospitable and ever cheerful camp staff, the delectable meals, or the dreamy comfy mattresses and pillows in their spacious tents (that give you just the right amount of comfort in the rustic charm of the outdoors to help you get a good night’s sleep at high altitude). It’s the attention they pay to every little detail, every step of the way and how seamlessly they do it each and every time.
Anyone can make a good impression when things are going well in the mountains. It’s how they respond in times of trouble that really sets the leaders apart from the pack, and Adventure Pulse does this with the kind of finesse you can’t help but marvel at. Their commitment to the safety of their entire team and the concern and care with which they treat their clients and staff alike is unparalleled. From ensuring that they always carry bottled oxygen, a medical kit that is equipped for every possible exigency, and providing emergency cash for evacuations and medical care (for their staff members too), to taking the time to make sure everyone had the right kind of climbing gear and getting to know each person well enough to tell exactly when they’re struggling and how to help them through it, these guys are undoubtedly experts in their field and you couldn’t hope to be in safer hands.
On this expedition, I saw our team leader Samir personally talk, trek, tug and tow our group all the way to the 6250 m summit of Kang Yatse 2 (setting a whole new record for the largest team to do so in the region over the last 3 years). More importantly saw him and the Adventure Pulse staff (Nawang, Padma and Stanzing) make multiple trips back and forth every few minutes, right through the 18 hour summit push so that they could be there to guide each of us back to the safety of base camp, keeping everyone’s spirits high and earning us bragging rights that I believe they deserve majority of the credit for.
No matter where I’ve been, I’ve always felt that has truly been a pleasure to trek with Adventure Pulse. To climb with them however, is an absolute privilege.

I had an amazing experience trekking through the beautiful Kashmir valley with Sauraj and his team. I was traveling solo from Gurgaon and it was my first trek ever!! Without doubt I can say that the adventure pulse team was the best choice for this. From sharing tips to prepare for the Trek to actually executing it beautifully, they made sure that our safety and experience was the best ever. This trek takes you through 3 passes and max. Altitude of 4300 mts. KGL is also a very long trek where you may walk atleast 6 to 7 hours on any given day hence a good fitness level is required. Each day is different with either an uphill climb with steep boulders, (even ice!)or a meandering pathway through the beautiful meadows. But all your tiredness goes away the moment you set your sight on the pristine lakes and the food! Our guides Saleem and Pankaj were very patient and experienced and the pack always travelled together - everyone could set their own pace hence no pressure to keep up or trail behind. Sauraj is an experienced mountaineer and the team with him is definately one of the best that I have travelled with. We were a small group of 8 folks and got a lot of personalized attention :) also we were lucky to have Shraddha as a guide with us from Nepal to support the group - even though she was on a holiday there!
Without doubt I can say that it was the best decision to pick adventure pulse for my first trekking experience. Thank you team!
